BJP can win anywhere in India except Punjab and Bengal as these two states knows the role of them in the Freedom Struggle of India against British. It is true that who knows the history of Freedom Struggle of Indians against British will not support those who batted for British.
The myth that Indian economy was 20% of the world economy!
There is an English adage which says 'Where there are fools (to believe), there are scoundrels (to fool them more).’
A scoundrel said India's GDP was 20% of world's economy in 1700 and fools believe it. Unfortunately the fact that even our former PM Mr Man Mohan Singh uttered this statement once shows the extent of idiocy even among the educated Indians. Also these iidiots unintentionally admit that Mughals (Akbar-Jahangir-Shah Jehan- Aurangzeb) created this great Indian economy during 1550-1700.
To put things into perspective, a pre-industrial primitive economy's size is based on population—on the number of hands and legs—with other factors weighing little. If there are 1000 people in a Country A, then there will be 1000 thatched houses, 1000 bowls, 1000 spears, 1000 cheddis, etc.
In 1700, India’s population was 10 crores and the Indian economy was 20% and China’s population was 15 crores and its economy was 30% of the world economy.
In 17600, British and French populations were 1 crore each; so their economies each was 2% of the world economy and so on.
After 1700, western economies expanded dozens of times, due to industrialization, compared to the Indian economy, which did expand but just 3 or 4 times.
If Indians (including MMS) shed just 10% of their idiocy and think, they understand that here the great Indian economy did not shrink but the western economies expanded rap
Obviously. It has to happen. Still apart from BJP and Congress, there are 130 and odd are from other political parties. It still be a difficult task for BJP in the upper house. Opposition do not care if the country goes to docks, but will unite just to oppose BJP and will try make them a failure.

The people who are duty bound to ask any questions are busy in creating disturbance in both houses of the parliament all the time.
After so many years of the constitutional experience, should the country review the utility of Rajya Sabha in totality? Why do we need the Rajya Sabha? What will happen if it is nit there? What does it contribute to governance? What does it contribute to democratic values and traditions? can six year term be reviewed? etc. Virendra

It is really surprising that the elected representative of the people term ends every five years while the people who has no capacity to get elected in Lower house are are nominated to Rajya Sabha has term for six years. Why this nominated person are allowed to stop any bills and it require their mandate ? The constitution has given them unnecessary undue importance which they don’t deserve.
