Can't understand how an elderly can comply to the timings,negotiate long/any distance to avail these facilities offered FREE? They must be fully residential,available to those who opt on no or little payment,dedicated staff,without caste reservations or politics. These must be better/sensitively managed than OLD AGE HOMES/ANATHASHRAMS.
Welcome initiative from Chhattisgarh government.Though we boast of more than 60 percent of population less than 35 years of age in our country, the population of senior citizens is also on the rise.Lot of healthy people retire at the of 60. Elderly other than self employed will find it difficult to lead a normal life given the present day environment.In such a scenario, government needs to do more for elderly.
