TDP in YSRCP trap.
by susarla suryaprakasam on Mar 24, 2018 03:21 PM  | Hide replies

Andhraites are very cunning / selfish people, do not fall into any trap easily. As it is, YSR is a Reddy party, a minority in the spectrum, can not win on its own, except with 'kapu' help and Christian card. Pawan is a kite and with no loyalty or scruples, can easily join with YSRCP, for a price, last time 500 crores, this time 5000 crores!

NEVER TRUST BJP
by jaswinder chabbra on Mar 23, 2018 06:54 PM  | Hide replies

It has a habit of cultivating and flirting with all the regional parties in a state, so that it can benefit through anyone of them. TheY do this allover India. For ex in Maharashtra they flirt with NCP as well as MNS when they are in alliance with Shiv sena

People voice - Demanding Politicians to stick on the words
by KRISHNA KUMAR on Mar 23, 2018 03:06 PM  | Hide replies

With a great support from AP people, YSRC, Communist parties, Janasena and many voluntary organisations are demanding for Special Status since 2015. During election campaign at Tirupati in front of Lord Balaji Holy Hill, Mr.Modi, Mr.Chandrababu Naidu, Mr.Venkaiah Naidu and Mr.Pavan Kalyan were present. Mr.Modi emphasised Special Status for 10 years. Mr.Chandrababu Naidu requested Modi that 10 years not sufficient, it should be 15 years to construct capital city, infrastructure dev, attract industries and viable. NDA sanctioned special package instead of Special Status. AP CM accepted, greatly honoured Mr.Jaitely at Delhi and Assembly passed special resolution.TDP slept for 4 years. When opposition parties questioned, CM/TDP Spokes Persons mentioned that SPECIAL PACKAGE is the best, rather than SPECIAL STATUS and asked IS IT A SANJEEVINI; NO SPECIAL STATUS STATE IS HAPPY; IT IS CLOSED CHAPTER; SPOILED LADDUS; arrested citizens. To put pressure on Central Govt, YSRC requested TDP to support their No Confidence Motion and even finally resign all parties of AP MPs. TDP bluntly rejected and questioned how they support YSRC’s A-1 & A-2 accused. Pointed out, if resign, who will fight in Parliament. Due to YSRC high popularity, TDP has taken "U" TURN, withdraw their Ministers from Central Cabinet, demanded for Special Status and informed that they will support YSRC's No Confidence Motion. Again taken "U" Turn, submitted No Confidence Motion on their own

If special assistance or package was implemented in time ,there would not have been such a ruckus in the first place. Only because even Special assistance was not given, the govt in
A P has risen against the center. But, as I see, opposition parties want to black mail the govt of A P for accepting package. Hungry man will not insist on eating only Biryani. He will settle for Makki ki roti thinking that it is a healthy option.

Finally ,nothing will be given to AP. Neither Special status or Special assistance. Still, you have to stand on your feet and face the challenge.

Hence, people will totally reject NPA in forthcoming elections. They won't caste favour to NPA as well as damage the image of NPA in other states too in the election campaigns in 2019.

Kambhampati Hari Babu - Does he have any value!!
by venu vrk on Mar 23, 2018 01:02 PM  | Hide replies

I was doing engineering in Andhra University in late 90's. He was listed as faculty for my department, but I never (not once - I swear on this) saw him in college except his name on the faculty rooster. I guess he was for sure drawing his salary then. So, just imagine what sort of politician he would be when he was not performing his government salary paying job. PRETTY SAD TO SEE these type of politicians.

British rule was golden era in Indian History!
by MISSIONARY on Mar 23, 2018 12:49 PM  | Hide replies

British rule was golden era in Indian History!

1. British unified over 550 princely states into a single entity.
2. They ended Moslem domination in India and liberated Hinddus from 1000-year long subjugation that led to the rise of Hinddu intellectual class who could eventually fight for the freedom of India.
3. British rule prevented India from becoming a BarbaricIslamicState by ending forced conversions to Izzlam by 1800.
4. British built excellent dams, bridges, railways, roads, etc which unheard in the rest of Asia (during 19th century).
5. British opened many universities and colleges in India, which helped Hinddus to rise as an intellectual class.
6. British introduced English helped India to become a software superpower in the world today.
7. British rule considerably weakened the barbaric caste-system, even though remnants of the system remain. Even superstitions decreased to a great extent.
8. Due to better medical services, death rate dropped and life-span increased.
9. Railways, postal services, modern education, English medicine, etc rapidly improved the standards and quality of life.
10. It is a myth spread by deceivers that Indian economy was 27% of world economy is 1700. India was much poorer at that time.
11. HHindus were living under complete subjugation of Mozlems. British rule gave great religious freedom to HHindus
12. British rule altogether gave a new direction to Indians who were mired in ignorance, superstitions, and caste-barbarity

A La Andhra Affaire
by Purushottam Singi on Mar 23, 2018 12:41 PM  | Hide replies

I would comment only on employment matter. Andhra matter is more of accounting nature and has been politicized for obvious reasons.
BSE, i.e. Bombay Stock Exchange puts unemployment figures on its website every day Umemployment Rate % in three category (a)India,(b)urban and (c) Rural, which are (a)6 to 7%,(b)6.5 to 7.5% and (c)5.5% to 6.5%.
These figures, must have been collected from reputed source do not indicate a very distressing unemplyment situation. Nor many a business persons would claim that there is an ample supply of job seekers.
This unemployment, without authentic figures, has been made a political bogey by vested interests.

@Purushottam Singi:

Seriously?

Bombay Stock Exchange publishes Andhra Pradesh unemployment data?

And you find that comforting?

Some magic must have happened when I blinked. I guess the capital city of Hyd must have done to Telangana without the industries. All the industries must have shifted overnight to Amaravati. I missed that.
