The purpose behind facebook from the beginning was to steal/collect people's data and use it for social research, target advertising, election campaign etc for use by multinationals and government. it no doubt enjoyed patronage from them also. This is the main source of income of the company too, otherwise how did he make 4 lakh crores. So, facebook from the beginning is corrupt.
