Nation is bigger than state, Opportunity is for all states
by sanjay kulkarni on Mar 16, 2018 10:24 PM  | Hide replies

Every regional ruling party leaders are mostly the family rulers. These people look for their family dynasty rule more than the people of the state. Chandra Babu, KCR, Balasaheb Thackery, Sharad Pawar, Mulayam sign yadav are the prominent names.
Central govt is very strong.
The govt has given equal opportunity to all the states, including required funds. The state govt should use these funds and show more and more development results in respective states.
BJP has nothing done any thing against Telugu people as it is claimed by YSR and TDP.
If central govt show weakness, these regional parties will definitely rob the funds and make the center to dance on their tune.

Coming 2019, lets all vote for one single party for the nation. This is times demand. If we miss this, then we need to again see the mess with the alliance parties ruling and demanding hefty money, position for themselves.

Never support any special status for any state. in response this, central govt has already told that they are ready to give EQUAL Money to the state.

Why Chandra Babu not accepting this proposal?
There is more personal than political reasons for this nonsense.

@sanjay kulkarni:

I completely disagree with your glorification and certification of central govts in general.

If we take just the matter of what has happened to Andhra Pradesh from 2014 till date, you will find CONCRETE EVIDENCE that Central Govts and Central Parties have FAILED MISERABLY and DELIBERATELY on each of the following counts:

FAIRNESS and EQUITABILiTY
HONESTY IN SPEECH
HONESTY IN ACTIONS
RATIONALITY
NEUTRALITY
RESPECT FOR LAW
RESPECT FOR PARLIAMENT
PROMOTION OF HARMONY

You are questioning Chandrababu's actions of today. I think you lack a little awareness of facts and ground reality in AP.

Please understand that the people of Andhra Pradesh have been asking Chandrababu for the past 3 years to do what he has finally done today. Chandrababu is late by 3 years in standing up for AP's rights, in standing up for what is fair, and in standing up for what has already been LEGISLATED (by both Cong and BJP)

And what's more:

All of the failure that I'm talking about above, is not just accidental, or out of ignorance.

It is deliberate, devious, and CRIMINAL failure.

TDP is parting with BJP not for special status to Andhra Pradesh, but for some other political reason. Now all the opposition want to good things to the State. Why did they not do when they were in power? All self opportunists.

Opposition is wrong
by Srinivas R on Mar 16, 2018 08:36 PM

Opposition is wrong in thinking BJP will become unpopular by not giving special status to AP and withdrawal of support from TDP. Actually, may be with the exception of AP/Telengana, the people of the country will think high of BJP for not budging to pressure tactics and not favouring any single state. So BJP will become more favorite among the country people in the next election.

Special Status- a slogan stunt for Andhra regional parties
by aam admi on Mar 16, 2018 08:18 PM  | Hide replies

When central Govt. assured of full financial support to develop Andhra Pradesh, why these cunnings are trying to insist on 'Special Status'.
Naidu too could not plan well during their rule and now under the bogie of 'Special Staus' , Naidu wants to hide his incapability to plan, though the money is assured by Central Govt. for any development plan for the Andhra.
But instead doing any serious creative work , they are indulging in sentimental blackmailing the Andhra public in the Name of Special Status demand.

In fact Till Feb'18 TDP slept and continuously praised PM. They mentioned that SPECIAL PACKAGE is the best one when compared to “special status” and thanked Central Govt. also special resolution passed in AP Assembly. They also commented on various forums on Special Status "IS IT A SANJEEVINI; NO SPECIAL STATUS STATE IS HAPPY, IT IS A CLOSED CHAPTER; SPOILED LADDUS;" ETC and arrested citizens, who agitated for special status. People fully supported the agitations led by YSRC, Communists, Hero & Jana Sena Party Chief Mr.Pavan Kalyan, Hero Mr.Sivaji Raja. On seeing the same, TDP has taken "U" TURN and demanded for Special Status. YSRC requested TDP to support their No Confidence Motion and resign collectively for MP seats. In reply, TDP bluntly rejected the proposal and questioned how to support or follow YSRC as there are A-1 and A-2 prisoners and pointed out if resign for MP seats, who will fight for Special Status in Parliament. As there is heavy pressure from people, yesterday evening (15.3.18) announced that TDP will support YSRC's No Confidence Motion. Surprisingly taken "U" Turn today (16.3.18) and decided to come out from NPA submitted No Confidence Motion on their own. If we see all these things there is no unity among AP leaders for the interest of state and clearly appearing selfishness, double standards, cunningness and black mailing Central Govt. to attract the citizens and preparing for elections- 2019 to loot the vo

@aam admi:

Short answer to your question is "BJP's Credibility is Zero"

Detailed answer:

(1) It is incorrect to say that "AP govt is indulging in sentimental blackmailing the Andhra public". The fact is, it is the rising public anger that has finally forced TDP to act, after meekly submitting to the Centre's injustice these 4 years. People on the street are still angry that the TDP has been so late to act against the Centre.

(2) As for "Central Govt assurances" of today -- they are another cruel joke. It is naturally impossible to trust today's FRESH assurances from BJP when the same BJP has:
(A) Pushed AP into this dire situation by its AP Reorg vote in 2014
(B) DELAYED, DODGED, DISTORTED, DENIED, and DILUTED every single LEGISLATED PROVISION in the AP Reorg Bill of 2014 - a Bill that they themselves voted -- provisions that were intended to provide an inadequate compensation to AP for the CRIPPLING BLOW.
(C) Failed to keep a single promise they had made in their 2014 AP manifesto.
(D) Are coming up with a variety of creative, patently false,, and pathetically lame excuses every day to defend their actions and inactions.

They did the same Lyibg Act with the people of Goa. They promised Goa Special Status before the parliamentary elections and when they won all the Goa Parliamentary Seats they just told them that Goa cannot be given Special Status. Big Liars.
