it is not a blunder. it is a well calculated move. BJP in andhra is finished. so is the congress. these big parties need some chota guys to carry them around for some time. it is the regional party time in andhra.and that is why this move.

@himadri deb: If you are aware of the facts relating to the BJP's criminal action and criminal inaction towards AP, you would not say this. (Assuming, of course, that you're not part on the payroll of the BJP's Troll Brigade).

The fact is that AP is left with very little to lose now, thanks to the BJP.

I request that you set aside all political angles of this matter, and focus on the criminality of BJP's deeds in AP.

@auryas:

Could you please explain how it is blunder for TDP to exit NDA?

On the context of the constant, consistent, and calculated crimes and betrayal against AP by the BJP these past 4 years, the popular criticism in AP is that TDP has been TOO LATE in doing this.

Wow. Wow. Crimes. Betrayal..

Just put some thought into what you are saying. Has any one actually heard the speech of Narendra Modi while he toured AP before elections ?

Special status as a financial rescue to states have been revoked by fiance commission in 2015/16.

Why would the central government fund the TUGHLAK like plans of BUILDING a capital city when none is needed ?

As per the agreement of state bifurcation, AP can use HYD for 10 years and extendable uptp 15 years.

What is wrong with Naidu ? He wanted to become some HISTORICAL figure to construct capital city ?

When you pour all the funds given by the center into your MAD PROJECTS like building capital city on gold like arable land there by destroying agriculture of the state ( which is it's strength) beyond repair and then blame center ?

@auryas:

Wow. The lies are all coming from you. Some of them being parrotted.

Finance Commission denying special status to AP is one of the BIGGEST LIES of JAITLEY.

The Finance Commission has not SAID this.

Check out today's clarification issued in Rajya Sabha by none other than a BJP leader, confirming that this is a LIE.

Now here comes my counter-question to you:

Who is Finance Commission to deny special status to AP, when enough legislation has been done it already in 2014?

Finance Commision is not even a Statutory Body. It can only made recommendations, none of which are binding.

And here one more counter for your Finance Commission Fallacy:
If Finance Commission is indeed SO SACROSANCT and POWERFUL, Why is AP not receiving revenues out of the offshore petroleum being extracted in the KG Basin, DESPITE THE 12 th Finance Commission recommending this?

Give that revenue to AP, and half of AP's financial problems will get solved (problems which were created by BJP and Cong in 2014)

TDP destroyed the state.
by auryas on Mar 16, 2018 11:02 AM  | Hide replies

We suddenly became aware of Raja Harishchandra who never goes back on his promise.

AP has gone to dogs under Naidu. This is a fact. he destroyed the state by pouring all the money into construction of CAPITAL CITY Amaravathi like Tughlak. After lacs of crores of spending, the capital has nowhere near comepletion.

Now, in next elections TDP will lose and lose big way. Whoever comes to power, YCP or BJP will shelve the capital city project. So the lacs of crores of rupees spent on the capital are gone into bay of bengal . It is tax money of crores of people. So the real losers are citizens.

Secondly he destroyed vast stretches of gold like agroculture land to implement his lunatic pet project called capital city. Not only the agriculture destroyed beyond repair in AP but the food production has reduced to a fraction of what it used to be 20 years ago.

So now, they import rice from other states like kerala, Gujarat and Chattishgarh.

@auryas:

I don't know in what world you are living, and what sources you are quoting.

I hope you're not just a member of the BJP's Troll Brigade trying to justify their pay for posting BJP propaganda.

The fact are:
AP has been robbed OVERNIGHT of a leading, fully-developed exemplary capital city, thanks to BJP's and Cong'ORIGINAL CRIME in 2014.
Whatever has been spent towards a new capital these 4 years, is hardly 0.5% of what's needed to get a new capital. Thanks again, to BJP's delays and dodging with the funds.

If you have any better ideas on how the Centre's measly miserly doles should have been spent by AP govt, you haven't spelt out even one

Chandrababu is killing his own future
by Jayaprakash Balan on Mar 16, 2018 10:30 AM  | Hide replies

By severing ties with Modi and BJP, Chandrababu Naidu is killing his own future as well bright future of Andhraites because only with the well ties and support of Modi and Govt. in centre, could he have done something good for Andhra and its people. it was a good combination because both Modi and Naidu was progressive in their thoughts and development aspects for the state and country. Now he will be left in lurch because even if somebody else comes to power, he will not get the clout as well support for development of his state. Though he might get little support for taking the right stand due to the emotional issue of Andhra Special status, this will not convert to votes during elections. And Modi and BJP without Naidu also can and will win the elections of 2019. Today its only Modi's and BJP's gain all the way in any elections whatever gimmicks is done by opposition or allies of NDA as Modi and BJP has gained grassroot and all young India's support which is a major USP.

@Jayaprakash Balan:

Strange statement, indeed.

There was really no need for TDP to have allied with BJP in 2014. After the crippling blow of the AP Reorg Bill unjustly thrust on an unwilling people of AP, it was a foregone conclusion that he would be the next CM to get the state back on track. At least for one term.

Hindsight has now proved this even more. ABSOLUTELY ZERO benefits have come, either to the AP state or to the TDP party, thru this alliance.

In the alliance has done enough damage to the interests of AP.

TDP got it's vote because the BJP supported it in 2014
by auryas on Mar 16, 2018 10:29 AM  | Hide replies

When AP was divided by Sonia and Gang, people of AP were disgusted and all for wiping Congress out of the state. The only problem was Congress was in another flavor - the YSR congress party.

TDP got it's votes in last election ONLY BECAUSE it was an ally of BJP. These idiots think it is their own muscle that got them the state. It was MODI and MODI all the way which ensured smooth victory for TDP.

Now what they are doing is suicide of the party.

BJP has enough support base in state. It is the TDP and rat shack parties like JAN SENA and TCP which will lose big time. As for Congress, people are disgusted at this outfit.

bjp was never a power to reckon with in andhra. people thought with modi as the PM and CBN as the CM would see their state go through good times after the trauma they experienced during the state division. in AP today, BJP is finished because the state leaders acted very late and no one trusts them now after Naidu seized the opportunity ( though he personally does not like to move away from the BJP). Jena sena guys are a single caste party. no one trusts them( other caste guys). people do not ignore CBN's experience, that too in tough times.

@auryas:

Paid bluster?

Division of AP was done by Cong and Gang, and BJP was a BIG part of that Gang.

BJP has followed up that CRIME with the an equally BIG CRIME of dodging, delaying, and denying nearly every promise included in that Reorg Bill which they themselves "passed" in 2014 with Cong.

BJP will now suffer EXACTLY the same WIPE-OUT in AP that Cong suffered in 2014.

by auryas on Mar 16, 2018 10:23 AM  | Hide replies

Madarchd congress people have divided the state. Hurriedly convened a meeting and signed spilling of the state by the cabinet of MMS. And they conveniently escaped.

The NDA government only promised to look after the orphan state ( whose leaders stood like HIZDAS while the state was split nd lion's share of the state resources went to Telengana).

Now TDP, YCP and whole lot of rot of polity are up in arms against BJP for not keeping the promise. But is any one asking what these HIZDAS were doing when fowl mouthed KCR incited his gangs to vandalize Hyd and kicked AP out ?

@auryas:

Good to see that you are admitting to the HUGE CRIME committed against AP in 2014, on the floor of Parliament.

But it's only a half-truth.

What you have conveniently left unsaid is below:

BJP VOTED WITH Cong to "pass" that UNSCIENTIFIC Bill, in 2014.
Without BJP votes, the Bill was SURE TO GET REJECTED, as it was being FIERCELY OPPOSED in strong numbers.

Within minutes of that CRIMINAL ACT, BJP GLOATED and BOASTED about it, and appealed to people of Telangana region to vote for them for what just did. Sushma bestowed upon herself the infamous "Chinnamma" title.
