Politics spread like cancer in India
by auryas on Mar 15, 2018 07:59 PM

Every aspect of of lives seem to have politics intruded into.

From your rations, travel, school, job through civic amenities.

Politics in this country has become a cancer like disease where citizens are suffering mutely - unable to counter and completely given up.

Road sides are encroached by Flexis of politicians, Community festivals are hijacked for political publicity, national events have become sickeningly loaded with politics and even tragedies like naxal attack on CRPF have become political propaganda material ( Listen to the sicko Randeep Surjewala). Political interference in school books, exams, spending of tax money and even the air we breath and water we drink have been contaminated by politics in this country.

Politics have become private business where citizens and votes are used as so many dimes and nickels.

There needs to be a check to this menace.

State of Indian Democracy
by auryas on Mar 15, 2018 07:39 PM

It looks as though Elections are completely detached from the citizens.

Elections seem like a business and all these scum netas seem business partners who just want to stay in power.

Voters are their commodity and nothing more. Each o these scoundrels come on TV , accuse and berate each other and finally get together to make Voters 'Ch*tias'.

There is no democracy. Looks like Citizen involvement begins and end with votes.

In the old days robbers used to distribute villages among themselves so that one robber won't trespass to another territory.

We need some thing like Bolshevic or French situation where they cleaned up the scum of the country in one go.

The bypoll loss is good for BJP.. just as the Delhi defeat was also good for BJP.

Fevicol of Opposition
by Manabendra Pathak on Mar 15, 2018 06:29 PM

Is that BJP should win every election? Do miracle everywhere like in Tripura. And where is Congress? It is coalition of SP-BSP and Rahul Gandhi wants to be hero over there. If entire oppositions like SP-BSP, Trinamul-Communist, DMK-ADMK want to join together, the Congress can be a Fevicol for them where Congress will not have any identity nor even visible.

Need of opposition unity
by Amitabha Bhattacharjee on Mar 15, 2018 04:53 PM

If this effort fails only congress will be responsible , first of all they have to decide whether they want federal structure of India to be pursued or rule the country from Delhi. It was the idea of Rahul Gandhi to fight alone, but ground reality wants pre-poll good coalition with realistic minimum agenda

Unity in Opposition
by NG Nileshwar on Mar 15, 2018 04:41 PM

Impossible. Every party wants its piece of the cake. Every party head wants to be the PM. In fact RaGa cannot deliver a speech fluently. He has no capacity to face world leaders. If the Opposition wins, the nation is in its phase for dark days only because no party has a nation-wide reach.

People lost their hope?
by KRISHNA KUMAR on Mar 15, 2018 11:19 AM  | Hide replies

UP By-poll results should be an eye opener to BJP, as they are neglecting coalition parties. with a great hope citizens have given a chance to NPA to rule the country in turn people faced various difficulties during their 4 yrs period. People have not yet tasted any relief rather than pains and sacrifices and still the motivators are expecting more sacrifices. People are not in a position to sacrifice. If Mr.LK Advaniji replace Mr.Modi, then there is a chance for BJP in next elections.

Who is this Mitalia saran ? The opposition is adisgranted people of other parties and rejected by people.Their main aim is to defeat BJP and not to give good governence.Has any party gellow talks about governance? They are joining with the intention of getting power and if elected by default fight for PM's post to other plum posts depending upon their parties winng number of seats.Surely Rahul is not the person they prefer for PM,there by Sonia will be let down.

Basic cultural defect in opposition is political extortion for number game. If they all unite and leave this habit, we need strong opposition, automatically country will have two party system.
