It looks as if Aakar Patel refuse to grow out of 1980s and 1990s.
Also, since when we began doing cost benefit analysis of law enforcement ?

The way CBI alloyed itself to be portrayed as having handled the Aarushi case, one ceases to have any respect for CBI. It is just another police dept.
" If there are 30 cases of heinous crimes and 70 cases of minor thefts, and you get conviction in 60 cases of theft," ----CBI is not for minor thefts !!
Akar Patel is spot on. He probably had some very good inputs from within. Today CBI itself is highly corrupt and there is no one to check. In fact it is often referred insiders themselves as Corrupt Bureau of India. Kudos to the author for such bold article
The author is known for his anti BJP stand and it reduces his credibility. Although the facts are true and prove the proverb "tho tha chana baje ghana about CBI.
Investigations keep happening for years, but often no results at all. CBI is nothing but govt's fooling around legal/investigation team whose only job is to harass the opponents and waste tax payers money...
CBI is NIKKAMMA and should be SHUT down at the earliest.
