POOR REPORTING QUALITY, THE MISSING ANALYSIS
by Gautam Kar on Jun 30, 2018 01:17 AM

We the reader are NOT really curious if one reporter named Hemant Waje got his heart broken.

Rather if so, people will be currious to know "WHY" ? What is the problem ?

Could he explain anything in depth and systematically ??

Indian reporters writes more serious and important reports on Shahrukh's birthday dance, Rekha's make up, Salman's anger, Kareena's dress mix up, Taimur's stomach upset and in the process, lost their capability to write less serious issues on Farmers agitation and provide an analysis etc...

Congratulations for uselessness, a typicality of rediff ...

Thanks for writing this article!!
by MAYUR SAWANT on Mar 13, 2018 04:44 PM

Hi Hemant,
Many thanks for writing this article, describing this great phenomenon through a common (so called) Mumbaikar's perspective. Without adding any political taste to it you described it very well....
... their long and painful journey, their discipline, their humor, their excitement and hope.

At the same time honestly displaying your (and most of ours) limits to bear the pain and heat.

Hope the Govt. will keep the promises given to the Farmers or again it will be just hollow assurances as usual….

farms agitation
by GSARORA on Mar 13, 2018 04:37 PM

Govt should form a special committee and identify genuine farmers who are the actual victims and those who committed suicides as their crops damaged or confiscated not the affluent and political farmers or big farmers and give compensation to them out of special fund earmarked for affected farmers. Also their genuine grivances addressed and redressed not at the cost of honest tax payers.

Pay Tax and get nothing
by amit on Mar 13, 2018 02:30 PM  | Hide replies

I am not against farmer. Govt should genuinely work for the benefit of them and bring them up but only genuine farmers and not political farmer.

Farmers who cry for everything doesnt have much for this rally. So it means they are purely funded.
30000 farmers wearing red cap and flags.
Avg cost of cap is Rs 20/- & that of flag is Rs 50/-. SO total 9.0 lakh expenditure on just caps and flags.
3 meals a day for them. Atleast Rs 20/- per meal. SO for 7 days it becomes 1.26cr.
Where is the money coming from? Who is sponsoring them?

We pay income tax, GST, Petrol diesel tax etc and all these goes to farmers as loan waiver etc. No issues.
Take from our pocket give it to them.
In that case govt should buy directly from farmers, step us stalls everywhere.
People should go there, show their IT returns and get the vegetables free of cost according to tax paid.
this way farmers will get free everything and we as tax payers will get vegetables, grain at cheap rates

Freebies is free poision.
Congess, CPM & TMC (mamta) giving to the public for votebank politics.
Making this our people undevelope, uneducated beggars.
Sometimes harvesting more (customers gain, farmers loss), Sometimes harvesting less (customers loss, farmers gain) . It’s a double edges sword.
What Congess can not solve 70 years. Comunist can not solve 34 years.
Do not instigate them for mere political benefit. Need scientific outlook to solve it.

MNREGA in some parts of india is necessary. but in places like andhra where water and food is in plenty this scheme made the labour lazy and farming unremunerative. quality of labour is very low. now we are depending on machines rather than on these lazy humans who charge high for a very low quantum and quality of work. Then the local govt gives away rice for Rs 2/- per kg. these guys sell the rice to the PDS guys and eat superior quality rice like samba masoorie. if the govt stops this scheme the opposition will offer the scheme to come to power. this is nothing but bribing the voters.
