NAIDU LOST MY RESPECT
by chandrashekar nayak on Mar 12, 2018 06:18 PM

I had highest respect for Mr Cnandrababu Naidu as he is one of the most tech savvy, forward looking, progressive politician in the country. But he lost my respect now. He resorted to blackmailing Modi just one year before the crucial General Election. His demand for Special Status is AP is not tenable and conceding to his demand for special status will open up many more insane demands like this from other States. Central Govt funds belongs to all states in proportionate to their population and no state can be shown any special favour at the cpost of other states. Modi Govt is providing A P Govt a lot m=of money for building their Capital City at Amaravathi, and many more developmental projects. What else needed? Mr Naidu resorted to pressure tactics. He should remember that Modi is not Vajpayee, who danced to the tune of Mr Naidu during 1999-2004 NDA Govt.

Just Andhra, no Indian identity
by Bharat Kumar on Mar 11, 2018 07:51 PM

Andhra ko andhere me dhakal diya jaitley ne !

The finance minister, in his typical clerical and insensitive manner now familiar to people, has clubbed Andhra with the failed states of the cow belt. So convenient to point at the grand old and dead party for all the mess.

One just wonders how Naidu feels after getting booted out of Hyderabad. He pulled the wretched city out of gutters for it to be grabbed by a family of father, son , daughter, uncle, etc. joined by venkaiah's son.

Andhra should be renamed Andhra, distance itself from the rest of the country and do deals directly with smaller countries like Singapore. It should probably suggest that the naval base be shifted to Chennai and develop Vizag. The rest of the country can defend itself if it cannot contribute to Andhra.

Andhra University has the capability to become a world class education centre. Donations into Tirupati's hundis should be put to use to develop the state with a deficit account created with Srivaru's permission. When the state develops, it can repay the Lord with interest like he does to Kubera.

Earlier, there were marathi, tamil, punju and bengali cliques hogging the resoruces, now all have to compete with gujjus to get anything

single state party adopting old tricks
by vivek bansal on Mar 11, 2018 05:46 PM

People of states which elect and project their
regional parties should understand that such small
parties often indulge in blackmailing, arm twisting
for self intereste though they claim to do it for that
state's people. No clear cut ideology,no dedicated
workers, only family business like company style working so they must understand the damage, being done to national democracy.

A state versus the central government.
by chanakya maurya on Mar 10, 2018 09:56 PM

This has long been an eternal platform for politicking against the people of a particular state because they voted for some other party.

At macro level this is not only unethical but it is also a subject of exploration for the constitutional pandits to clearly determine whether such a situation can be termed as unconstitutional.

The politician may hate it but it is time to have a national platform of non-political dignitaries to determine the equitable distribution of opportunities and resources for each and every state.

States must be protected against politicking by the powerfuls.

It is like bend or be sent to Siberia.

This is hardly the spirit of Bharatvarsh believing in plenty for all.
