As described by many medias BJP is not in commanding position in many northern states like Bihar,Rajasthan,MP,Gujarat,Punjab,Haryana UP etc. It may get half of the seats compared to previous elections. As per predictions in many magzines BJP is going to lose Rajasthan and MP. TDP cannot be compared with Shivasena. TDP is actually ruling AP. Every party in south India is fearing to form alliance with BJP. Because it may lose minority vote. So they they are distancing them selves. National parties presence in South India is negligible except Karnataka.
The so called allies of NDA were taken in to share power by Modi inspite of the fact that they were NOT needed in the Govt. But the allies thought they are too smart for Modi and started twisting the NDA handle and biting the hand that fed them, without them asking for it. People will not appreciate this attitude of ingratitude...

Where is biting? Mr.Modi himself emphasised the need of special status for newly formed AP for 10 years, where as UPA Govt had announced 5 years only in the election campaign in 2014 at Tirupati (near to Lord Venkateswara Swamy Temple). In the same meeting, Mr.N.Chandrababu Naidu, CM of AP in that meeting requested Mr.Modi to extend the special status for a minimum period of 15 years due to establishment of industries and development of infrastructure, a herculean task for the newly formed state, where the state has no capital city. The people of Andhra Pradesh voted for BJP & TDP for their open promises and due to their back step, the people are agitating on promises. Hence, where is blackmailing? Unfortunately, the CM of Andhra Pradesh has forgotten about the issue and due to agitations by people of AP and opposition parties, now they opened their eyes and now before elections demanding for special status.

1. I fail to understand what is the issue in not accepting equivalent special package in lieu of special status?
2. No political party will grant/get special status to AP. Be it Congress, YSRCP, TDP, BJP or XYZ.
3. There are many contenders for special status, almost all status would want special status.

Even CM of AP accepted the special package, Central is not releasing the funds in terms of Bifurcation Act. On attaining the power, they wasted considerable time, by that time planning commission was there and they could blindly follow the said Act. Un-necessarily 14th pay commission was came into picture. Whose fault is that. Why won't PM exercise his executive power like Ex-PM Vajpayee, where there was no bifurcation act. Every thing in this issue is a political drama appears selfishness for their survival.
Which destroyed the congress party. Each time an ally demanded its pound of flesh the congress agreed to its demands. The result was that the congress began to sink and things have come to such a stage that congress has been wiped out in many states. A coalition makes regional party stronger and national party weaker. If Shiv Sena and TDP wants to go let them go. They too will have to pay the price if they go. Shiv Sena has paid it.

In fact TDP and TRS are the most vulnerable of the lot. Jagan is breathing down the neck of Naidu and congress can replace TRS when they both slip. Both need BJP more than vice versa, This is only to bring pressure but Modi is not Vajpayee. He will not surrender to pressure.

Looks like you are in some fools paradise. Jagan is not even breathing, half his MLAs have deserted his party. And BJP is so maligned in andhra right now, anyone who ties up with them will be voted out.

Congress did not get destroyed because of adjustment with its allies. Its own party men are the biggest criminals going around - the Gandhi family, the Sibals, the Singhvis, the Tharoors, the Pawars (remember that Sharad Pawar was a Congressman earlier) and the biggest crook of them all - P.Chidambaram.
Above all, the main reason why the BJP has a good chance to come back to power is their biggest vote catcher :
Pappu Rahul Gandhi.
He only knows to open his mouth and put his foot into it.

In this situation, it is highly impossible coming to power without the support of allied parties due to NPA failed to come upto the satisfaction of common man or middle class or weaker sections of society. Because during these four years people sacrificed their lives, various difficulties, no relief rather than pain and even in their last budget also those suppressed people are very unhappy.
