You must first ask the 70 plus percent of north Indians why they have to remain so grindingly poor and have to defecate in the open and do jobs like manual scavenging for a living despite the fact that north Indian states have become so heavily polluted with so many unregulated and corrupt industries !

India must answer to China in harsh language, that China should behave like a Sovereign State with a Sovereign State, if China claims Arunachal as its south Tibet, then India claims on whole Tibet. Similarly China must have faith that Dalai Lama is officially asylum in India to have freedom for religious activities. If China is arrogant, India must also speak the language which China or PAK understands.

Re Tibet, it is Chinas blatent occupation allowed by Nehru, by allowing food supplies thro Calcutta to the beleagured PLA leading to the first time ever defeat of Tibet. As can be sen in the photo Gokhale is all smiles and friendly while shaking (hands) with the Chinese Foreign minister, while the latter shows no warmth at all.Once his Holiness the Dalai Lama is no more, Chinese will have sealed the fate of Tibet once and for all, and Indias fate too, because in spite of all this boot licking hoping that Chinese will change their stand on Pak, this is not going to happen. Why does not Rediff publish articles of brahma Chellaney or the chinese have secretly warned Rediff not to do so, as his articles will expose the truth???
what a write up......quite educational for novices in such matters like me. our stand becomes more vulnerable view latest Chinese move of giving permanence to xi jinping regime. hope gud sense will prevail on both sides and our leadership will take right call in jettisoning the load which we have been shouldering on a humanitarian ground for last 60 years back.
