power of Telugu people
by on Mar 08, 2018 09:38 AM  | Hide replies

Modi and Jaitley had underestimated the power of Telugu people and they had forgotten the history of Sr.NTR. Telugu people will show their unity in Karnataka elections which are going to be conducted in May 18. Bjp has to pay for their mischief in kartaka election and 2019 election permanently.

Chandrababu is a different person who is known for not tolerating any nonsense from any one. He is a man of few words but once he take any decision he act on it unlike party like Shiv Sena who can stay in the government, criticise them, threaten to break an alliance and still stay with them inpite they are being insulted and neglected.PM Modi should not allow atleast people like Naydu not to be a part of this alliance.

it appears that Naidu is not fighting for the funds as Modi govt is ready to provide the same. He wants it through NABARD. Why? Because it will be easy for hem and his loot gang to get a hefty kickback? There seems to be no other logical reason behind this move of Naidu. Hard to believe that a seasoned politician, who was wearing a false mask of being a reformist and progressive and intelligent politician has stooped to this level of political blackmailing without there being any logic or sense. He will sink and he will take his state too along with him. Some posts in this forum, apparently from AP, have already begun to see this as a fight between BJP and Telugu Pride. Pity.

@Pinto Sakar:

I think you may not be aware of the relevant facts of the matter.

Perhaps you will understand only when your state suffers the same DEATH-BLOW that AP suffered, in the 2014 AP Reorg Bill. (OVERNIGHT, AP was robbed of its capital city, industrial infra, already established big-ticket industries, future jobs, govt institutions, educational institutions, and so MUCH MORE.

Perhaps you will understand when someone robs you of all your life savings, promises (in writing) to compensate for it, and then says "you are young and capable, so forget about compensation, it's your funeral".

Perhaps you will understand if the FinMin dishes out BLATANTLY FALSE REASONS and EXCUSES, including the UNTENABLE stand that the 14 th Finance Commission is constitutionally preventing him from fulfilling previously legislated obligations.

Perhaps you will understand DELIBERATELY dishes out LIES: Even in yesterday's presser, he said that less than 400 crores is pending. What a big LIE !! The reality is that more than 12000 crores is pending !! And that is by the estimate of the Centres own CAG -- it's not just the AP govt's estimation.

Too late - People will not tolerate
by KRISHNA KUMAR on Mar 08, 2018 09:03 AM

The decision of Mr.Naidu is too late. He just opened his eyes after four years, where opposition party and citizens are very angry with the attitude of BJP. Before becoming PM, Mr.Modi in his election campaign, assured for 10 yrs special status for AP, where Mr.Naidu emphasised the need minimum 15 years at Turupati in front of Holy Venkateswara Swamy Tirumala Hill. After coming to power, both of them ignored the need of special status, showing the cause of 14th Pay Commission Recommendations. There is no value for former PM Mr.Manmohan Singh's announcement in Parliament about the special status for AP for 5 years. Both are the culprits on this issue. People must take revenge on this in forthcoming elections.

TDP, Akali Dal and shiv sena should be out of NDA
by RAJKUMAR on Mar 08, 2018 06:00 AM  | Hide replies

BJP should disassociate itself from these parties as they always indulge in blackmailing. TDP during ATAl ji's tenure as PM ,always black mailed.
BJP would suffer in one election but in long term would emerge as a stronger and better party.
Always believe and advocate never to support any regional party.
Vote and support multi state parties like the Congress and the BJP only.
Regional parties are a threat to nation's unity

Do not talk rubish, when you do not have any knowledge of politics. Without the support of regional parties, national parties can not survive. And moreover this is not blackmailing, Andhra has always suffered, first when it was carved out of Tamilnadu then again it was bifurcated. Lots and Lots of promises were made when the state was bifurcated, one of it is the special status. Now why BJP is backing out? Agreed that the promise was made by Congress but here we take into consideration the central government and hence it is the onus of the central government to fulfill this promise, irrespective of party which is ruling at the center.
Hyderabad was not developed in a day, many people worked day and night for decades to make it a global city. Almost 80% revenue is generated by the city alone. Just imagine if this revenue is taken away from you, how you will give salaries, how you will feed the people?
First you kill the sentiments of Andhra people by taking away the city which they developed and also taking away their major source of income and now they are keeping their promise.
This you call blackmailing? Please do not comment just for the sake of commenting, first gain knowledge of the subject then comment.

Impossible demands
by krishna Ram on Mar 08, 2018 01:43 AM  | Hide replies

1. Central government is giving money more than the benefits what special status would give.

It is like a child that want only that broken toy.

2. Central government funded 100% of Polavaram project. Should govt fund 200% of the cost?

3. Center sanctioned IIT, IIM, AIIMS, NIT, IIIT-2, NID, Ocean Technology institute, Tribal University for Andhra Pradesh.

Payments would be based on progress and should NOT be blanked checks.

@krishna Ram:

You are skipping the same facts that the Centre is skipping. You may be doing it out of your own ignorance, but the Centre is skipping facts BY INTENTION, in a feeble attempt to hide its CRIMES.

AIIMS is NOT SANCTIONED.
IIIT-2 is not sanctioned.
Whatever educational institutions are sanctioned, the funds won't even suffice to build a perimeter wall. Even the land has been identified and notified. So much for your statement that payments should be against progress.

Whenever the Centre says "we are giving the same benefits, with a different name", it is LYING BIG TIME, and they KNOW IT VERY WELL. They still say that only for misleading people like yourself. The crucial difference is that they have declared that they will not give INDUSTRIAL TAX INCENTIVES, which is a CRUCIAL COMPONENT of Special Category Status when it was included in the AP Reorg Bill.

They are talking only about Polavaram project, DELIBERATELY to mislead people like yourself into thinking that AP's stand today is only about POLAVARAM.

They are supposed to implement Vishakhapatnam Railway Zone. This is a promise made much before AP Reorg Bill, but was still included as one of the promises in the AP Reorg Bill. For absolutely no reason at all, they have made ZERO PROGRESS on that.

There are so many more betrayals, if you only have the patience.

The Centre is playing a deliberately GAME of FALSE INFORMATION, HALF-INFORMATION, and DIS-INFORMATION. I sincerely urge you not to fall f

In short, none of these are "Impossible Demands" as you call them.

They are already legislated provisions !!

There is nothing constitutionally impossible or invalid about them !!

Please don't fall for the Centre's big lies, and smokescreens.
