I am amazed at the way the author feels about Hindu festivals per se. Education is a state subject under Indian Constitution and Yogi is free to run HIS state as per his wish, so long as he is the CM of U.P. Even other wise, State Govt. Education Dept frames rules for the Schools in the State and Madrasas or Missionary Schools have to run the schools as per State Govt.'diktat. I SEE NO CONTRADICTION IN THE DIKTATS OF YOGI IN U.PAND I FEEL Ms PUNWANI IS SEEING A GHOST IN EVERY SHADOW..!!..
While Friday is one of the days of a week Holi comes as per lunar calendar next day of Phalguna purnami,cannot be changed to accommodate others. Why Yogiji too is expected to follow the so called seculars' appeasement policies and profess ALL RELIGIONS instead of allowed to profess his own Dharma.Why should being SECULAR mean to be a ADHARMIC?
