India is most dangerous for women ?
by P S SHAH on Jun 27, 2018 11:05 AM

What is the locus standi of the 548 people who are the opinion that india is most dangerous place for women ? Can opinion of only 548 people on phone can be the opinion of rest of the people of the world ? Rediff should better not give any undue importance to such report which has no basis or merit and given by the people whose nationality and status is not known.

Report is Absolutely spot on

The PM of the world's largest Democracy is guilty of abandoning his wife & puts his nearly 100 year old mother in the line during Demonitization to uplift his sagging image is there for all to see. The Kathua rape case along with the UP minor girl being raped by an MLA have intensified this image of India being a low third rate & third world country for women. Essentially Hxnduism has no respect for women despite the fact that goddesses abound with spears, sickle & hammer in tow riding tigers or lions. These are only images but reality is different. Women are pulverized & battered at home & husbands rape their women regularly. Let's not talk of Dalit women as that enters a more dangerous realm of hate mixed with sexual violence. So let us accept the fact that India is dangerous & lethal for women. NCW rejecting it is of no consequence to the world. What will be imprinted is the image of India being a sexually repressed nation harbouring hatred for its women.

It is better you talk of ills faced by MUslim ladies who have no freedom even to move alone. they are considered the servants of Male folk and can be kicked out by husband at any moment if get annoyed. Remember cases of instant 3 Talaq, and further they are asked to look for the Children's survival, where as Man is free to have another wife immediately. What a inhuman approach ? Why don't you keep silent and close your eyes when this all is going in your society every day.
Further the % of education of Muslim girls is also very low. So work for your society and make India strong instead abusing the most honest and hardworking PM of India.

sample size of 548 people?
by janga sridhar on Jun 27, 2018 12:51 AM

sample size of 548 people among 130 crore people and they call it a survey ? Rediff publishes and NDTV holds a prime time debate...no greater nonsense than this.

Small 'Privileged' Group Of Women With Vested Motives.....
by rishi on Jun 26, 2018 11:30 PM

......indulges in publicising manipulated personal opinions of some people and not based on any reliable data demeans the upright , upbeat, young and daring millions of women of the Nation who have embraced the ever-enterprising, risk-taking and dynamically-evolving Team-Modi-Led NDA Government for uplifting womanhood. The I ndia representatives of Reuters who conducted the shoddy survey and those sections of the media who shamelessly promote such news as truth must all be rounded up and put in jails. Women of India are fully emancipated and a desperate opposition-led-anti-india lobby makes a business of highlighting and generalising individual crimes and law and order situations.
