But if Population is large enough then make the sample size can be reduced to 1% or sufficiently large enough. Covering world with 548 people as sample size is a joke, and it is job of some ignorant fellow , who is not aware of A,B,C of Survey. Better rediff editors should look into it and delete this funny survey form this board.
actual some people get joy to make argument against our country. I request the maker of that survey please do work on how to make people that they never think to do rape .that will be a grate job
Sample size is very small. people are not selected randomly. Survey looks a joke, by any standard of statistics . Conclusion ; who so ever organised such survey is ignorant of basics. Hence the results must be rejected.
Years before somebody has commented like this. But this is going to be true. The criminal and dacoits activities, crimes against women and children are increasing day by day. There is no speedy trial and punishments. Even the Jails became rejuvenation centre for gangsters and Party culprits. With money and muscle you can do anything in this country. You can prolong cases for 20-30 years. Even if you are jailed , you will get long parols. The real punishment is given for poor people who were forced to do small petty crimes because of poverty. Except one or 2 politicians did anybody has been in jail? Any IAS IPS officers has been in Jail ? For the poor , the jail is a nightmare. For others it is a rejuvenation centre. It would be really really difficult to live in India from 10 years down the line. Every one says India is blessed with youngsters. There is a great danger if they were not getting jobs, they were not being trained properly, they were not being made to be a person with values. Young generation will do anything for money now. There is something called Quataion Job in Kerala. You give money and the gang will kill or cut the legs or hands of others for money. Police will not touch them as they are protected by Political Parties or Religious leaders. Going forward peace will be a myth in India whoever comes to rule. Unless and until speedy trail and severe punishment is given , this is going to happen
