Kashmiri Pandits returning home after 30 years
by AshokK Sharada on Jun 19, 2018 10:54 AM  | Hide replies

Congratulations to Kashmiri Pandits for taking the decision to return their home, after staying as refugees in own Country. No political party heard the plight of these brethern. The so called secular leaders who shed crocodile tears when any muslim got killed, for political gains and to get the mileage from it. No one ever showed any sympathy when Kashmiri Pandits got murdered or converted to islam.
Now this is the duty and responsibility of State Govt. to make sure of their safety and to rehabilitate them. No previous govt. made any efforts for their rehabilitation. Kudos to Kashmiri Pandits for claiming their own rights. We all should be, morally supporting and wish them for their better and safe future.

Are Kashmiri pudits not human beings, Not Indians????
why did the Congress/NCP/PDP not think of rehabilitating them for the past 25 years.
Pandits are the most peaceful community who do not indulge in any form of violence including stone throwing. Not a single person from the community is facing any criminal charges in India or anywhere in the world.
They were hounded out of their homes, they are now Homeless in their own
home country. Some put the present figure of the number of exiled Kashmiri Pandits at 7.5 lakh. No commission or probe has focused on ethnic cleansing and the genocide of minority Pandits, which led to their exodus from the valley.
Both center and state in the past have not made a sincere effort to rehabilitate the Pandits in their homeland of Kashmir. In fact no one has ever done.
Finally there I some hope from NDA Government

Real solution
by VIJAYAKUMAR on Jun 19, 2018 10:22 AM

Kashmiri Pandits should be settled in Kashmir and given weapons for self-defnce. It is better than army fighting civilians. It is ironic that genocide of Pandits are forgotten and people are taking about army excess in Kashimir.

Kasmiri Pandits were thrown away from their homeland and they were not getting justice so long. If they can get back their own homes back what is wrong in it. Govt should do justice to them and the terrorists should be dealt with their language. Dr U.N.Bora

Since Pandits are not vote banks , no body was interested in talking about them. Tens of thousands of people were actually flown out of Kashmir because of the atrocities of Mslims. They killed thousands of Pandits, converted many to Mslims and those were not willing to convert were driven out and fled to Delhi and were living a dogs life. Neither oppositions nor the ruling govt has not done much to them. Even the so called intellectuals and writers were keeping mum, May be because they were not Dalits or Mslims. Where was Arundhadi Susanna Roy ? Where was Prakash Karat, Sitaram Yechuri and Vrinda Kararat. During these years I do not have seen any of these leaders speaking a word in favour of the Pandits. No one will understand the suffering they had May God bless them

Utter failure of Governance to exhibit its existance.
by m g on Jun 18, 2018 05:38 PM

It is well known that basic duty of any Govt. is to protect life and property of its citizens. It is hard to believe that there was no land records, no local police and public administration Agencies even till now which could not ensure protection to Kashmere Pandits? The failure needs to be thoroughly proved.

He has not done anything for Ram temple.
Nothing to repeal article 370 and
nothing for kashmiri pandits return.
Hindoos must not vote for him. We will kick him out as we kicked out Atal behari in 2004. Back stabbers are worse than real enemies.

Separatists
by arungopal agarwal on Jun 18, 2018 05:12 PM

We have sizeable population who are separatists or Jihadis, they do not want to contest any election rather want power with gun, they are to be killed or exiled, they have no right to live in Kashmir who does not accept Kashmir govt. run by elected people. All such houses must be allotted to Kashmiri Pandits first to start with.
Anyone in Kashmir who does not love our system or constitution is a foreigner for all of us including for Kashmiris.
