Among all other Chief editors of Kashmir based newspapers Syed Shujaat Bukhari was the only person whose work has never been controversial and never played double standards like others. He was very people friendly and never ever misused his newspaper for his personal scores. He had no passion for making money but was desperate to serve the people with his pen in a positive way. Wish his killers are brought to book soon.

This is a 'failure' on the part of the Central Government for having ordered for a 'cease-fire' during the month of Ramadhan, although the record has been that the militants don't respect such cease-fires. Perhaps this was due to a 'pressure from the PDP , an alliance partner and head of the Government in Kashmir.

While Chief minister Ms. Sayeed had welcomed the cease-fire when it was announced, she silently beefed up her own security, which means she feared that it may not be respected by the militants. Unfortunately she did not care that the common people of Kashmir, and the armed forces (to which another victim Aurangazeb belonged) would suffer due to the call for cease-fire.

Fazal Nadaf, Can't you think anything other than "Saffron, Modi, BJP"? Can't you analyse anything in an un-biased manner? Are you blinded by any other considerations other than proper reasoning?
