Blot on our prejudiced democratic system of reservation, we want correction from all leaders that only those who are living below poverty line about 40 crores are dalits and all those who are above poverty line but below Income Tax limit are backwards about another 60 crore in secular India. If any leader is against this concept, he is playing politics and want riots and do not want to improve the condition of poor and deprived. Today in the name of reservation, none of the class mentioned above get any benefit, all benefits are snatched from the poor and deprived.
Very true. Anything progressive is not for Dalits because Dalits consider themselves as backwards. General category or others do not consider them backwards. They want to remain as backward community because of the caste based facilities that they get. BJP is trying to improve the quality of life for Dalits, which sadly they are not understanding. Most of us treat them with anger, hatred and Disdain, not because of their caste. It is because of the undue advantages they are taking basing on their caste. They are worried that their privileges will come to an end with BJP commonising all castes and creeds.
After more than 70 years of independence, some people still say there are dalits based on their castes, a common term for Economically and socially backwards, and that too based on one's caste. The same people want the cast system eradicated. They advocate inter caste marriages. Is this stand not contradictory? Because of the implementation of caste based reservations, a class of BRAHMINS has already been created among the so called DALITS whose third or fourth generations are taking advantage of the reservation system at the cost of extremely backward population from among so called DALIT castes themselves. Go and document how many of the newly created BRAHMIN class among the dalit caste marry their children with the children of the class who are still poor and backward among their castes. As on today, every caste in India has got sizable numbers of DALITS (Econimicaly and socially Backwards). In the interest of the society in general, the present reservation system should be replaced by the one based on social and economic criteria, not on caste. Caste based reservations are a vote bank politics.

The primary raison d etre for caste based reservations is the discrimination the so called low castes have suffered over centuries owing to the perception among the so called upper castes that the low caste people are all descended from an inferior negro race while the upper castes belonged to a much better looking Aryan race.
After millennia of co-habitation, raxpes, muxlim invasions, even the occasional inter marriages, this is much less true today than it might have been millennia ago.
A very large segment among the so called upper caste people of today consists of men and women who look like negroes (thick lips, curly hair, flat and wide nose, even dark or very dark skin!) while a segment of the so called low caste people have much more acquiline facial features and fair or very fair skin !
A prominent such case of negro upper caste people are a large number among the Tamil brahmin (Iyers) community (Nirmala Sitharaman is a riveting example). They are often as black as and are as endowed with thick lips and flat noses as the lowest harijans in Tamil Nadu !
It is unfair that todays reservation system does not take into account this fact !
They are really good at sloganeering.There are plenty of examples of dynasties in dalits. Interesting what% of dalits cornered majority plum posts in govt jobs

Discriminatory laws should be done off. Minority welfare laws which is highly discriminatory should be diluted as it is against the concept of equality to all. Congress messed this country.
