Pathetic? Would someone, "missionary" or anyone else, please explain? The Mughal emperors were not saints, but things may not have been very bad for the average person. After the British came, there were many famines, with lots of deaths. British rule was both good and bad.
"Frankestein" kills it's creator. Once again it's going to prove thru' the developments. His venture for direct entry to politics was denied now he will not leave any stone unterned to get into thru' backdoor to capture political power and be part of the system. My only appeal to educated folks and common people on the both sides to look for some other alternatives to correct the great blunders that was commited by our so called great leaders to serve the interest of western world and more specifically for their own personal interest to have dynastic rule. Common people on both sides are suffering immensely and fruits of so called independence are beings enjoyed by few families creating wealth at home and overeas (western world) by capturing political power thru' unscrupulous means and fooling people in the name of cast, religion, nationality, muhazir, democracy, etc. It's time now to tell them "we had enough of it".
BRITISH RULE WAS THE GOLDEN ERA IN THE INDIAN HISTORY!
1. British, ending barbaric dominating rule of Mozlems (who killed 600 mil & raped 600 mil HHIndus over 1200 yrs), liberated HHindus from 1200-yr subjugation, gave HHindus religious freedom and prevented India from becoming BarbaricIslamicRepublicOfIndia (BARISRI). 2. British united 550 princely states fighting internecine wars, into a single entity. British ended the menace 1000s of murderous robbers (thugs) in north India. 3. British built excellent dams, bridges, railways, gave equitable Justice system, modern education system opening universities, etc which rapidly improved the living & intellectual standards of common people. British modern medical services reduced death rate and increased life-span. 4. English language helped India to become a global tech & educational power, in spite of some shortcomings. 5. British rule considerably weakened the barbaric caste-system, superstitions, ignorance, etc strongly rooted in Indian psyche, though remnants remain. 6. No doubt Hinduism is the most secular, literature-rich religion, but Indians live in constant delusion—believing ancient Indian literature has all sci & tech; in 2000 BC, 90% were literate & rich; Indian economy 27% of world economy in 1700, etc. These are all lies invented by scoundrels to fool Indians. Before the British, Indians were living in pathetic conditions. INDIANS SHOULD CULTIVATE SCIENTIFIC THINKING

Great thought process intelect & disguised "missionary"! So invite some other colonial ruler to have 2nd independent struggle under leadership of leader like you to make free common Indian from the clutches of illiterate & unscrupulous politicians using religion for their own interest.
