routine of breathing in the perpetual stink of vast minefields of human excreta lying in the open, it is now that time of the year when most Mumbaikars switch to wading through ankle deep or knee deep excreta slurry to get to offices, shops or their homes !

Rain

It is monsoon, it will rain. All drainage lines are filled with debris, hence there is water logging on the tracks. Overburdened drainage lines due to rampant illegal construction on drainage line or near it. Infrastructure is not able to handle vast and ever increasing population. In future the situation will worsen. We have to face it. It will continue forever. No government can solve this problem. Let us accept the fact.

Yes. The main problem of choking is dumping of waste in the drains by all wayside vendors. Nobody bothers to clean the same. This is not only problem of mumbai but whole india. We lack civic sense and media do not have any thing but only highlight this every year. Media should take up constructive role of educating public about the need of civic sense. Will they do it?
