I am a Catholic from Kerala and worked as Bureau Chief of a daily newspaper in Delhi. Everywhere Bishops and Priests give advise to people.It was not an issue before Modi. It is because of many journos lured with money and other perks from the RSS led BJP, that it became an issue now. They will never guide you to vote for any party. But they will point out the atrocities in the country against the poor. Those who look from outside may find it "dangerous' for them. Common man except RSS followers have no problem with these advise.

Oh really, everywhere Bishops poke their nose into these things is not acceptable. Muslims give fatwa and ur priests ask people to vote as per Vatican direction. Problem is u have got caught this time. Conversion is a truth, they tried on me as well. Funding is affected due to NDA and thus the problem.
The Congress Governments were conducive to the veiled agenda of Church, which is the conversion of Hindus to Christianity for which millions of dollars are channeled through various routes. The BJP Government is not conducive to this agenda and it does bring with it a grounded flair of Indian nationalism with Hindu identity and therefore this motivated outbursts are existing. Let us, as Hindus, view this as the Church's democratic right and ignore it and defeat it by strengthening the BJP Government so that with time this agenda of Church is defeated.

Can a person be enticed to change faith by giving food or education? Even if that happens, will he continue to stay in the new faith when the enticement is removed. If ishwar chooses to call someone, who can stop him.

Why should someone be enticed at all? Will you have the same opinion if the enticement happens in the other direction? Why were there so many protests then about ghar-wapsi? Why was that not accepted if conversion is accepted?

when somebody is converted from primary religion of India to other religions then it is called 'Conversiob' but when they want to come back to thier original then it is called 'Forced Conversion'..Ha ha good logic

CHRISTIANS NEVER OBJECT TO FOREIGNERS COMING HERE AND SHAVE THEIR HEADS AND JOIN HARE KRISHNA MISSION, THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA PERMITS EVERY PERSON TO PRACTICE AND PREACH HIS OWN RELIGION.
He is a direct convert christian Archbishop from Hindu religion as his name suggests. These people delibrately keep Hindu names just to hide their real identity e.g. YSR Reddy, Jagnanath Reddy his son (both are Christians converted from Hindu religion) etc. The Vatican's Agenda is to be convert people from other faiths by alluring them with money, admission in Christian schools; distributing ration etc. Yes; Couto must answer on whose instructions or behalf he has written this letter whether Vitican City or Madam from Italy as she was very happy after reading it. Similarly, he must answer whether any other faith's worship place can be built in Vatican i.e. a Temple, Mosque etc. What sort of democracy or hypocracy Vaitican has been following?
