As a citizen he was free to address RSS which is not a banned organization but I think he did miss an opportunity of the intended dialogue to tell RSS more forcefully to break from past, 'change' and be more accommodative of other streams of religion and thoughts over and above giving voice to its own less privileged Hindus subjugated under binding caste system in a constitutional based nation building process. As Sardar Patel is reported to have advised RSS that while its central agenda of promoting Hinduism is ok but problem is the idea of promoting revenge or enmity against minorities based on the past by-gone age which is indeed troublesome. Agreed, the RSS Chief speaking before Mr Mukherji did make all the right noises about the country’s diversity etc making even Mukherjee’s speech sound more repetitive but what people want to see is RSS practicing the preaching of Mohan Bhagwat done in front of Pranabda. It was good Pranabda touched upon “…. increased violence around us….darkness, fear and mistrust. ….. free our public discourse from all forms of violence, physical as well as verbal."All in all it was Ok but nothing spectacular. The intended dialogue has to be more specific in reference to the perception of attempted revival of the upper caste and ‘Brahminical order’ of the past in the country with the emergence of RSS backed BJP in power relegating yet again the masses.

British built excellent dams, bridges, railways, gave equitable Justice system, modern education system opening universities, etc which rapidly improved the living & intellectual standards of common people. British modern medical services reduced death rate and increased life-span. 4. English language helped India to become a global tech & educational power, in spite of some shortcomings. 5. British rule considerably weakened the barbaric caste-system, superstitions, ignorance, etc strongly rooted in Indian psyche, though remnants remain. 6. No doubt Hinduism is the most secular, literature-rich religion, but Indians live in constant delusion—believing ancient Indian literature has all sci & tech; in 2000 BC, 90% were literate & rich; Indian economy 27% of world economy in 1700, etc. These are all lies invented by scoundrels to fool Indians. Before the British, Indians were living in poorer & pathetic conditions. INDIANS SHOULD CULTIVATE SCIENTIFIC & MODERN THIN
Nation state is a western concept and applicable to one language one religion one culture in one geographical area in which other languages and cultures are subsumed or eliminated to create a uniformity based nation. it is not possible to do similar concept exactly to india. the very fact that multiple ethnic cultures developed over last 5000 years shows uniformity never worked. we have to redefine our nation concept distinctly different from western concept and based only on indian conditions .(bcos our cultures took root when no other nations existed and) so we cannot apply and impose later developed principles of other nations. this is were the RSS needs to redefine its idealogy to suit indian conditions .....

RSS is not an organisation that has come out of the blue but has been formed from the sense of deprivation the majority community has faced over a period of 2500 years where every invader has taken advantage of our disunity and culture of acceptance. Each invader has taken away our riches and imposed their culture by force. Today we have a nation when the community can assert their culture and heritage but this is been seen as communal. Still there are passive forces in the society & who are constantly trying to destabilise this culture of unity & acceptance in the name of secularism. These forces as usual are trying to take advantage of our caste system & are trying to impose their faith through coercion & conversions with the sole aim to dominate our political power structures & democracy. RSS is the umbrella organisation under which all these activities are countered and hence is relevant to a large population. The more these forces seek political power to rule us again indirecty, the more this organisation will act as an neutralising power to these designs.Hence, the only way unity in diversity can flourish in this country is to dismantle these forces & stop the politics of appeasement. Practise of religion and faith must be treated as a private matter as enshrined in our constitution and all public demonstration & assertion for domination must be immediately curbed by the state.
