it is his money.;he can spent it the way he likes. so many ppl do betting . oh yes the money lost could be a lifetime income for normal ppl who could live a happy retired life with that, but these ppl blow it up in useless fun

It should be made legal like in UK. In india winners of horse racing and lotteries have to pay tax deducted at source. in case of illegal bettings it is all done only in cash no tax deducted and no tax is paid. Money generated out of such transactions is used for personal enjoyment and in some cases for illegal activities. Who cares for poor public.
