Excellent article, unfortunately it looks like we only have deaf ears left in this country. Being a Professor of Microbiology at a medical college I see we are only breeding onlookers.
Hopefully the deaf ears would open their ears if this country has to move forward.
The author of this article rightly that 'When evil and good clash you have to take the side of good; if not, you are also a sinner.' No doubt the author took a stand but did he decide in any of the cases cited above who the actual sinner is or like any other person in the society, he too believed that only the man is the sinner. You like any other person still believes that women never commits mistake and they are still sat-savitri's. If a person takes the side of the sinner then he is equally committing a sin.No doubt that everybody in the society should stand for the weak and the vulnerable but does that mean that the weak and the vulnerable are infallible and they cannot commit mistakes or they should not be punished. In India false cases filed against men outnumber the actual cases that too to extort money or simply to harass men and both the society and the law continue to believe that women are the only victim.
You are absolutely right, in our pursuit of roti kapda aur makan, most of us only want to protect our back side... We care less to help for We have become helpless...
The author treats everything in black and white and would like us to believe that in his time the society was perfect. That is rubbish. Time has changed and is changing. People are under too much pressure . But why ? Because of materialism and naked hedonism. Do parents teach their children good values, the goodness of simplicity ? Most of them would bribe the school authorities for admission. Not for knowledge or wisdom but for a degree so that their children get job afterwards. Today children below ten are hooked to mobile ,potato chips etc. Teenagers casually drive bike. And what about naked poverty in the larger society ? It was even worse in his time. It(was and ) is the single biggest source of exploitation and evil.
Humanity , like secularism is a ch&tiya concept created and used by hypocritical beings and bogus reformers of society to create guilt trap.
Sure we need to be empathetic , compassionate and all that cr*p but wailing about society has deteriorated in human values citing a bunch of crime headlines will show one thing - how media lost its sanity and become ch^iyagiri circus that plays with false info.
What does Ganesh Nadar wants ? Utopian society of country of 130 crores population whose citizens fight daily just to stay alive ?
Instead of lamenting like an agony uncle, Indian ch^tiya media should look for solutions. be more informative.
They should get down to details and fight real issues - population explosion, false notions of development , false sense of freedom and most importantly MEDIA CHU&YAGIRI.
If you look at the timeline of these incidents , they happened over a period of 10 years.
Basically this guy has put together all crime headlines together and tried to paint a scary picture of society.
These are ghastly incidents no doubt and must be condemned at all costs but such is the ch&tiyagiri of media that they can pretty much create a sensational story out of 10 year crime incidents.
