working against the interest of RTA
by R ponnabalam on Jul 27, 2018 12:07 PM

How many IAS officers have instructed their subordinates to acknowledge in WRITING the complaints, requests, representations their offices receive. If it had not been done so far it is working against the RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT;when not acknowledged in has not entered into the process of administrative transaction .Like that famous words "ideas Dead before they are Born, the entreaties are closed before they are opened.Let the ministries give the list of such IAS officers,Otherwise the ministry is also working against the interests RTA,R,PONNAMBALAM

Tinkering
by arungopal agarwal on Jul 27, 2018 11:58 AM  | Hide replies

No one will accept the change, it is normally loaded or till become totally redundant, Tinkering has been done initially when reservation was created in it with the quality, and also by way of promoting non IAS in IAS by States after certain experience and ACRs.
No doubt, IAS is a different class, but we need professional too with commercial akin in technical and economic commercial field, which they lack. They know only govt. accounting i.e. disbursement as per budgetary norms, do not understand properly commercial world. How can they understand when they feel that govt. can raise any amount of load and also can print currency.
We certainly want to lower the age of entry of IAS, finishing reservation in this class so as to be fair with talent, and also to raise added qualificition for all positions which are of technical or financial nature instead of simple graduates.
Nothing wrong if 10-20% are recruited directly as JS in professional capacity from the open market.

Mr Agrawal's comments always remind me the story of five blind men assessing how an elephant looks like.

Those blind should atleast be appreciated that despite being blind they tried to know unlike reservation class baztads who only know how to flag their cast certificates thus actually worse than blinds, you seem to be one from that category.
