A basic fact is that we have far too many cattle in the country. So, it's inevitable that smuggling will take place across the border. IT is an economic fact and no use running around trying to catch smugglers etc.In dairy industry in the West, all old cows are given away to the meat industry or to leather production. Looking after aged cattle is a burden on the farmer and they should be allowed to dispose as required.

Very good suggestion ! When Parents become old and inactive let them send to beggar's home to beg and maintain their livelihoods. Because they are now commercially useless.

True, direct, natural parents must be cared for and existing laws must be enforced fully.But, a mother, a parent, deserves even more respect. But a cow was never a mother of anyone except its calves, who grow into another cow or a field working ox (bail). Perhaps, govt. may reconsider modifying the Constitution article, so that it is not taken disadvantage of by States in making laws with a communal tilt and man slaughter is completely stopped and severely punished.

Nature has done a great mistake to create human being. All animals are beneficial to develop the nature by their natural act. But human being are the most harmful and destructive creatures to the nature. Soon, alike Dinosaurs, which were the most destructive animal of Jurassic age as human being of present age, shall be eliminated from this Earth by nature's fury.

Gaurakshaks are busy kicking idiots like you who do not apply brains before shooting a message and won't stop for a moment to think if the PM donated cows for meat.

This auryas (whatever that means) needs to know that 3 little children were found dead because of starvation in India, when the PM Modi gifts hundreds of cows to Rwanda !!! A shame indeed.

@auryas:
Thanks for your samskaari reply.
Since when did "gau rakshaks" stop to ask whether cattle is being smuggled for meat or for for milk ? I thought they lynch first and ask later, don't they ?
Re: Re: Our Dear PM smuggled cattle to Rwanda

@auryas:
Some more doubts on your samskaari reply:
Has it been reported anywhere that donation of cows is not for meat ? Please specify your sources, as I've seen no such mention.
And even if there is a stated purpose for the donation, how exactly is our dear PM doing to ensure its adherence once the cows land in Rwanda ?
And I find it ironic that our brave "gau rakshaks" are willing to take the PM's word (for the intended purpose and the mechanism of guarantee) for a cattle that's being relocated thousands of miles, but won't even stop to ask common people why they are transporting cattle to the neighboring town.
And by the way, I'm not sure who is more venomous -- those "gaurakshaks" or this person blind "modi-rakshak" hiding behind the id of "auryas" spitting gutter language at one and all

Like you, sir, thousands of other Hindusalready also share your views. The hope is twofold : 2019 elections and removal of beef ban and cow protection over human protection.Perhaps all such cases and provocative talks to be investigated and punished in fast track courts.

Nowhere in the article does he state the fact that the law was initially brought by the CONGRESS led government in the early days of the Indian constitution. Why does he not say that? Because it does not sell or perhaps because he willnot get paid due to his de-sensationalizing it...

Sir, I would like to ask some questions -India is the largest producer of milk and dairy products as well and biggest exporter of leathers. It is the fact that cannot be denied. Milch animals population grew since White Revolution since 1970s due to encouragement of Govt under IRDP programme.
It has become a trade as well as livelihood of many in India. No body living in Cities and big towns do not bother to keep a milch animal at their houses but they are the largest consumers.
When a cow becomes dry, what could be done? Whether the govt has any alternate to keep the dry cows or have any shelter till its natural death? Whether the so called Cow Rakshaks who release the cow from butchers could keep those dry animals at their houses.

One should punish gaurakshaks who take law into their own hands. No questions about it.
But flatly blaming government at the drop of a hat is bad for country. It is like you are wrecking your own home.
