You went to a high end restaurant
by auryas on Jul 25, 2018 07:06 PM  | Hide replies

Take this example.

You went to a high end restaurant with your family on a weekend and had good meal.

And then, some one sitting next table comes to you and offers to pay for your meal because you belong to a certain caste.

How will you react ?

You will get into a fight with him because your (bogus) self respect suddenly kicks in. If you are one of those people, you will even physically attack him for INSULTING you in front of all the people.

If you already had downed few drinkss , You will then loudly boast that you can pay bill of every one in the restaurant. You want every one around know that you are rich and easily afford a meal at the restaurant. Such a small thing for you.

Then, how can you then go public and demand reservations ? Is it not publicly accepting that 'I am worthless and can not compete with the main stream so I need a different door of entry into school, college, job and promotion'. Is it not you publicly claiming you are worthless and using BOGUS Indian history and your caste as an excuse ?

Such a silly thing as an offer to pay your bill at a restaurant can offend you. But you are not ashamed of asking for a free ride publicly through reservations ? Where is your self respect ?

India need the most stringent laws against mobism
by auryas on Jul 25, 2018 06:51 PM  | Hide replies

For example, we need a law that allow the government to arrest the leaders of a mob (political and other) and execute them in public without any mercy.

Mob violence in India thrives on government reaction.

Every one in India thumps his chest claiming he is a PROUD WARRIOR CLAN until some one kicks his a##. Then he will retrieves into his hole.

We are bogus people with bogus pride and bogus entitlements.

Agree about strict punishment.

But please don't forget that on many occasions, the actual violence is infused into an otherwise peaceful agitation, by political parties, and even by govts themselves.

--Sometimes govts do these overtly to announce their support to a "cause"

--Sometimes govts do this covertly to brand an otherwise peaceful agitation as violent.

--Sometimes by the ruling party at the Centre does this to paint the ruling party at the State as incompetent

I'm speaking in general, and not necessarily w.r.t. the Maratha agitation.

by auryas on Jul 25, 2018 06:29 PM  | Hide replies

Ours has become a shameless society where people compete to be backward so that they get a free ride. if this is not sickening , what is.

India is being destroyed by citizens who are averse to working hard and earning what they deserve.

Everyone wants every thing free on a platter. Every one accuse some section for oppressing them and fore their plight of being backward.

We have become a nation of short cuts , handouts and freebies.

And corrupt media uses every opportunity to cash in on situations by resorting to rhetoric and propaganda by through bogus intellectualism.

Tax money is being used by political parties as investment for their political

You must be belongs to urban section and raised in sophisticated environment, where you need not to interact with village populace or else you would not have so much agitated while reacting to such a socio-economic situation of maratha community. Rather you would have understood the plight of present maratha youths where major chunk of open category jobs are being stolen by someone else who are not proportionately represent the entire Maharashtra population. That's why maratha youths are demanding for their assured representation in education and services. where is the wrong in it. If they would have been sure for representation in every opportunity then why they are asking for mere 16% quota instead of their total representation of 30 % in present population.
If you can't understand their problems and can't support their cause then it is better that please be a mute spectator rather than giving such comments, which even you may not want to give.
Each one of us should understand one-another's problem.

Thanks brother and regrets in advance if I unintentionally hurt you.

Why should ANY community be given ANY reservation ?

Why should every one pay the price because you are born and raised in Gadchiroli or Latur ?

Is it not a lame excuse to get free ride.

You are born in a back ward area. That is not whole India's fault. You work extra hard.

And whats your take on well off people from the same community living in Mumbai, Pune, Nashik or Aurangabad. Will you exclude then and give reservations only to people from Latul and gadchiroli ?

Sorry for being blunt. Nothing personal.

Do you mean, giving reservation will solve the problem?
Maharashtra had 90% MLA and CM's from Maratha caste.
What did they do?
Its only because current CM is Brahmin, these violences are happening. These are mainly triggered by Sharad Pawar and his party men.

Only loss to common man.....
