The high level of corruption both Army and Politician has deprived the people of Pakistan any future. The younger generation will be the greatest sufferer. Their animosity with India is costing them dearly. Just look at the benefit Pakistan stand to gain with no Military intervention and and a Free and Trading Partner, just annormous. Lets good sense prevail hopefully when the New Government take oath.
Nawaz Sharif jailed has less to do with corruption and more with allying with India lobby. The biggest criminal organisation in Pakistan is ISI and like minded generals who have made terrorism, fighting war as personal business or entrepreneurship . Sending troops or general to Saudi, Turkey and taking money from them, eating away aids money by top brass leaving poor has been done there. In Pakistan there was talk that Nawaz Sharif business group with help of Modi crony capitalist friends like Jindal group, Essar and other groups were stabbing Pakistan narrative. Imran have agreed on some conditions to come on board and the first is kashmir negotiation.
According to Imran Khan, since last 4 years he said over dozen times if he gets elected as PM, he wants to lead the country like Lee Kuan Yew and compared Singapore and Pakistan economy in par in 1960's. He said because of his anti corruption stance and investing in human capital and knowledge base economy, Singapore took a leap. He forgotten that Lee said cleaning corruption is like like cleaning a staircase which should start at the top and work it to the bottom. It means not only Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan corrupt generals and other capitalist needs the same treatment and if you are puppet of army, this is not likely to happen. Second heed Lee gave was that out of all country Lee visited in his illustrious career, Pakistan is only country determined to commmit suicide.

Lee in reference to multiple proxy wars with India and in bid to match Indias defense power, Pakistan establishment specially their army have overstretched their budget leaving their young generation deserted devoid of education, training and skills. He said any country where its leaders take dictation from army will not flourish because army is tuned to either I will kill you or I will die attitude and hence its role should confined to border. Because of that, Pakistan have left their children at mercy of seminaries where its kids never developed logic and good ideals and believe real life starts after death and hence any motivation to do in this world dies.
His other hero is Mahathir Mohd. Imran beleives because of Mus majority nation, more than Singapore Pakistan can become Malaysia. Again there is problem. Mahathir was pragmatic man. He was blunt and criticize, Malays are lazy, incompetent and never put themselves in competing with world talent, and hence their bumiputra policy of son of soil was criticized. Mahathir was malay by heart. He criticized Arab culture, in comparison Pakistan is slave of arab money and now verge of becoming chinese colony. Imran must remember Malaysia took the benefit of flourishing Singapore, many firm invested in neighboring Malaysia because of low cost to enter in ASEAN market. He did reduced corruption, but not at bottom level.

His last hero is Tayib Erdudon. Pakistan can become like Turkey but only in military influence which is selling Pakistan army in the name of Umma to world like recently their generals were sold to protect Saudi and target houthi rebels. Pakistanis do not have DNA or discipline level to transform a country just like India unless a major revolution sweeps us.
