Centre's panel fort measures against mob lynching
by on Jul 24, 2018 10:07 PM

Lynching when seen at specific time - it looks like one community is victimizing individual of other community. However, there is background and efforts towards harmony do not sustain in the atmosphere of suspicion, hatred and feeling of revenge. The Lynching need to be defined comprehensively - covering What happened in J&K to derive out people leaving ancestor's land, the genocide of 1984 and current atrocities in the name of gau raksha. Till communities learn to respect sentiments of other communities - the isolated individuals will continue to suffer. Holistic approach is desirable to root it out.

First bring discipline in politics, who are spreading hate. Congress is behind all such issues to get favor of muslims. Local issues are made national to defame BJP. Whereas solution is with local law enforcing agencies.

Welcome step but extremely late and slow reaction from the Centre. they are some 3 years too late.THis panel should have been set up after the Akhlaque murder. Even now this panel must decide how to bring the guilty to justice within one year instead of waiting for 6 years and multiple bailouts to the accused.

How this situation has arisen is known to every one - there was abrupt killing of cows, for the sake meat. Hence a doubt comes about a cow being driven. Now the government should make public know that they are taking stringent action against those if they are not following the guidelines issued earlier and hence, action by lynching by mob is not correct. They should also be told that they cannot take law into their own hands.
Jai Hind. Jai Bharat.

Every such incident should not only be condemned but immediately stern action should be taken against culprits. It should not be confined to so called gorakshak only for political reasons but every incident should be taken seriously. SP and collector should be held responsible if prompt action is not taken and the leader who supports such action should be expelled from party. Nobody has right to take law in his hand. Court is able to take action against law breakers.

Heavenly India with no Crimes, till the recent lynching
by R ponnabalam on Jul 23, 2018 07:44 PM  | Hide replies

The present day Politically motivated propaganda makes it that India has only Muslims and Dalits .What all they do is angelic ;what all others do is devilsh and those other than these people are not fit to be human beings.Nowhere in India police is responsible for checking and Controlling crimes. The state violence of the Govt. in Tamilnadu in Thoothukudi didn't attract this much attention but this gets. There should be murder cases in good number in India ;they never get reported. But today's news paper screams "Muslim man lynched".So in India there has been only a few lynchings that had taken place in the recent past.Otherwise India is crime free.If we leave other murder cases etc uncared for what that will lead to?R.PONNAMBALAM
