The biggest joke of the year- Rahul has better command over English than Modiji. First ask him to pronounce 'Vishweshwaraya' properly, Mr. Paul.

Mr. Paul I have been reading your comments and never marked you to have command on English. Just by name you do not become an authority in English. English is our second language. As long we can covey our views in English it is OK. I am sure you must have followed his speeches during his visits to America etc. His vocabulary is above average. Yes his pronunciation is like any Gujrati. So what? Some times be honest before you comment on Mr. Modi.

Both the words, 'leader' and 'strong' don't go with Rahul Gandhi. So Congress must first find such a leader for him to lead the country!

Opposition to language
by Ashok Sapre on Jul 21, 2018 08:44 PM  | Hide replies

It is surprising that in such a vast country how many people can speak their own mother tongue. they will learn English French and German language as they are good for getting jobs abroad. In India there are so many languages having their own flavour and beauty. Who created this anti Hindi flair? We can see Hindi Movies even though we do not understand and speak that language in our daily life

Indirect opposition
by Manabendra Pathak on Jul 21, 2018 08:09 PM

What this man wants to say, about 70-80 crore of 120 crore people speak Hindi comfortably. So is it a bad choice in democracy to speak that language by their representative in parliament. By the way how many common people in TN speaks English. Again does he want to educate Rahul or want BJP or Modi to train him. Weather Rahul has a merit to be even Mayor of a metro city.

So disappointed with this write up. But I definitely support the idea of having at least a translation of the speech of the PM, or otherwise at least have 1 speaker from the ruling party from South speaking in English....would have been good as a message.

Even though the headlines of the article was"why....",there is no substance in this.,the reason being arithmetical .NDA had more numbers and the Opposition quite less in number. This opposition were trapped by Andhra CM Chandra babu naidu,to bring 'no confidence vote' against BJP government, without going in to the realities. In this process Shiv Sena did a comedy of errors,by supporting the ruling party, which was realised later.Any way three days of Parliament was wasted ,apart from some crores of public money. This much is the contribution of Anti Mody Faction, for the time being.Lastly this is an unwanted and useless aricle.
