The base or the foundation of Indian Diplomacy and Defence were ignored right from Independence. Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru wanted to be an International figure at the cost India's loss. While Chin was becoming stronger and stronger in Defence and Iconomy, India under the several non BJP Govt.siphoned Indian wealth that too under defence equipment procurement. The present Prime Minister trying to improve in all respects by undong of previous governments.
The learned journo can write great columns indeed but let me tell you some more important developments that are going to hamper relations of India more so of PM,Modi with western world.He is going to get greater rebuff from the western world which is primarily a christian world thanks to the signals emanating to it from the increasing alienation of Christians back home. Implementing strictly anti-conversion laws is one thing but agenda of singularly targeting the community , the priests and their institutions in all BJP states is entirely different and could seriously damage India's reputation/ties with the western world.Given this we should be lucky if Trump accepts invitation to become guest for next republic day.

Your comments are certainly a result of keen observation of all related events and actions of our PM/govt. Christian people do not need any law permitting conversion. But, there should be no law banning freedom to convert to any religion. No forcible conversions or conversions through lures can succeed, because religion is a matter of one`s inner conviction and faith, and falsely accepting any religion just cannot last. But, Modi has certainly hurt the Muslims and Christians through many of his actions and decisions.

But not officially, as the missionary headquartered in Vatican still continue their work vigorously in India. Modi put spoke on the wheel of this mass conversion. Individual conversion is not banned in India. But Mass conversion is subject to many conditions. The Supreme court also decreed that converted SC/ST cannot be a beneficiary of Centre Govt.reservation policy. Christian missionary is trying its level best to remove this obstacle.

what use is of the discussion ending after 11 pm,rather than useful discussion in developmental matters. All country men lost many hours seeing the jockery of new comedian.
