Rafael Deal
by rathi raj on Jul 22, 2018 06:38 AM

Was the same fear prevented Mr AK Antony from procuring anything for the armed forces during his entire tenure? The forces suffered severely during the UPA rule and is yet to come out of it.

Perhaps Congress and Gandhi Parivar cannot believe that such a deal could be made without kickbacks. Even there is a chance of financial misappropriation, there are enough mechanism to find out.

Will take legal recourse if Modi govt goes ahead with Rafale jet deal says Subramanian Swamy..

New Delhi: BJP leader Subramanian Swamy on Friday threatened to take legal recourse if government went ahead with Rafale jet deal with France, saying there were shortcomings in the fighter aircraft.

BJP leader Subramanian Swamy threatened to take legal recourse if the govt went ahead with the Rafale jet deal. PTI
Swamy, national executive member of the party, requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi not to go ahead with the Rafale deal, which was negotiated by the previous UPA government, and said the performance of the French jet "turned out to be worst of all the aircraft" in Libya and Egypt.
Modi is currently in France and will hold comprehensive talks with the French leadership during which the Rafale deal is likely to figure.
"There are two major issues with the Rafale aircraft deal which would embarrass the BJP government. The first is that Rafale is a less fuel efficient aircraft and lacking in essential performance characteristic that no country in the world has agreed to buy these aircraft," Swamy said in a statement.
"If the Prime Minister for some other 'compulsion' decides to go ahead with the deal, I will have no option but to approach the court in PIL to get it set aside," he said.
I may have to go to court if the government clears the Raffale deal in which TDK got a hefty bribe. Better we buy Dassault company than that

Rahul is a piece of work. He accused the defence minister of Ly!ng and that he believes what Mr MAcron had said. Now the same French govt re-iterates what our Def Minister has bee saying for so long , and he says this now. He is not just im-m@ture, he is beyond that.
