She had been controversial in her approach, got jail term too, why to have a special sympathy in media and by certain vested interested people. Law is not silent, doing its job to punish the criminals. Excess of everything is bad, why she was against the feelings of few so badly, that such situation arose.

We , in India have no laws preventing people in media attacking government just because they do not like who is in the government. Far from being responsible and objective, media , especially the sh^t load of commentators, bogus vanguards of democracy often resort to attacks on governments without any rhyme or reason.
Freedom of expression, speech and protest are one thing. But resorting to relentless attack on the government and government institutions in the name of freedom is the hall mark of India's democracy.
A bunch of people like Gouri Lankesh with their dark theories of every think the government does or says helped only to further the already diminishing citizen's belief in system of governance. We, Indians unfortunately are that society which readily subscribes to negative portrayal of government and subscribe to conspiracy theories floated by media. People like Gouri Lankesh mastered that art and created a falsified facade and provided succor to overzealous anti national scum like Kanhaiyya Kumar, Khaled and even Mewani.

She was nothing more than a noisy rabble-rouser who is utterly prejudiced against any thing to do with Hinduism.
She demanded every one to subscribe to her idiotic conspiracy theories which she created on the fly and in truck loads.
While her killing should be condemned, equally condemn able are the attempts to create heroes out of nuisance makers whose sun raises and sets in bashing up the right wing.
