Before that however, I need a response from you on whether you now agree that a *case number* can be used to escape from a debate about the corrupt credentials of a public servant (like the Chief justice of the Supreme court) !

But for commoners, it is those who steal lakhs of crores of rupees from public wealth who do immensely more damage than those who steal a few hundred crores !
Simple arithmetic !
All those lofty sounding financial jargon (NPA, bank recapitalisation, incentives in the form of revenue land at a small fraction of market prices, free power and free or highly subsidised resources for big industrial houses, etc) are nothing but ways to hide gigantic theft of public wealth and receive gigantic kick backs to run very expensive election campaigns to further delude gullible commoners !
The small thieves should definitely be caught.
But if commoners think that big thieves can be ignored simply because they find it difficult to understand how their gigantic theft affects them (like in severe undrr investments in public healthcare and public education), there will be more and more big time thieves and there will be less and less money with the govt for vital social sector investments !
Unfortunately, such stuxpid commoners make a big majority in north India. Which is why 8 north Indian states have more grindingly poor people than the rest of the entire world !!
