How Modi can resolve the China problem
by susarla suryaprakasam on Jan 23, 2018 07:39 PM

China was always our enemy, but congress / UPA for their economic survival allowed cheap and poor quality Chinese goods that helped both, and destroyed Indian make. That is Sonia and Rahul's contribution, that helped them a billion $s (so much of patriotism). And now, China is killing India on 2 fronts - Territorial and economical.

China & India

China vs India means Communism vs Capitalism. By 2050 communist china will be going to become the largest economy in the world & the capitalist India will be nowhere in the world. When we got independent we could purchase $1 by Rs. 1.00 and now we have to pay Rs. 67/- for one US dollar. One liter petrol in Pakistan is sold by Rs. 42.00 and in Modi's India by Rs. 80.00 so which country is better people has to judge!

to get an idea of where India actually stands in comparison with China in missile tech and missile defence tech.

China is so far ahead that it does not even consider India as a potential adversary !

China has invested so much money and skills into this and allied sectors that Janes defence weekly made a bold statement a couple of years ago - that China has already matched the US in technology and will shortly match and probably exceed the US in deployment.

Most importantly, Janes also said that China is well set to exceed the US in investments in ABM and ASAT (anti satellite) technologies and research.

If a full fledged war between China and India breaks out (which is extremely unlikely at least in the near future), China can and may destroy everyone of Indias satellites within a few hours with its SC 19 and HQ 19 missiles, something for which India will have no answers and something which will render India helpless and make it a sitting duck !

And remember that China also now is far ahead of India (it enjoys rough parity with the US) in other smart tactical capabilities such as laser beam kill weapons, advanced Array radar enabled missile interception, electronic jamming tech, etc.

India cannot even consider attempting to go a tenth of the way China has progressed simply because it will kill itself economically if it does so !

The Indian army chief, by mouthing lines in public solely to serve the political agenda of his masters (such as saying that *he* is *ready*

India China border dispute.

The author with his knowledge of China as a civil servent has conviniently forgotton the forceful occupation of Tibet. Tibet was a soverign state which was occupied by China under the pretex of cultural affinity. Indian government in its grand wisdom of Panchseel did not utter a word against this act. On top of it we gave political asaylum to Dalai Lama which soured the India China relations further.
Can anyone guarantee the Chinese reaction to proposal to surrender Towang? If adustments are to be made what part of land are we to get in exchange? Is China going to vacate Aksai chin?
Author has not elaborated on any of these point. It very easy for the Author to say that the present day government should make the move to convince the Indian people follow this line of thinking without any reciprocal offer from the China.

Had it been for Raghavan India would grovel on both knees in front of China. While reading the article it was felt as if a Chineese is expressing his viewpoint and not India. China is a rigue nation who believes in usurping others area by force or sops. The author is not liking indias strong stand and like a commie sympathoser he is propogating giving away indian territory to please his chineese masters. These are the kinds of civil servants we had, what a joke

Sorry! Mr Raghvan! Don't be simplistic as you have been otherwise. Without any adverse word on your merit to know China, this man with over 50 years of China study would say that the Xi Jinping Generation has limit to go beyond what has hitherto been the state of mind of the Chinese people and their leadership. Get to know the social and psychological history of the Han race over the past, especially Qin Shiwang Hungti epoch and will then know.

It is rather unpalatable but a reality.

China is a perpetual problem not just for Bharatvarsh.

It is a problem of an entire region.

And it is hardly resolvable.

With the political, economic and military might that the dragon has achieved the role of a big brother, like for example Germany in the EU, exclusively rests with the dragon.

Jawahar's earnest effort to play that role albeit without any significant might on any of the essential fronts was intolerable for China.

And Bharatvarsh was given a rude jolt losing a substantial amounts of acres and with a massive sense of despair for the whole nation personally almost paralyzing Jawahar the way China crushed the Panchsheel spirit.

It is hoped Narendra will refrain from repeating that history and concentrate on protecting whatever legitimately belongs to Bharatvarsh with a permanent policy of No Trust of this wily neighbor.

They want a war for meeting their greed for acres.

And the world is seeking peace knowing too well what a third world war could mean.

Let China play the big brother and play its price the way the Third Reich of Adolph paid.
