Except his fans
by kalyan krishnan V R on Jan 18, 2018 09:26 PM

I challenge the author. If Rajanikanth contest the elections, then it will be a fight between his party and DMK. AIDMK will be routed. Rediff is afraid that Rajani may tie up with BJP. hence this tirade against him.

Strange interview
by NAGARAJ G S on Jan 18, 2018 04:51 PM

This particular interviewer for some strange reasons avoids talking about kamal haasan in most of her interviews and is totally anti kamal, When Kamal is making so many headlines she never bothers to ask even one question about the effect of kamal in this situation

We need a change of politicians
by Aditya Venkat on Jan 18, 2018 04:13 PM

Its not a question of whether Rajnikant can or cannot perform in politics. Only time will tell! But atleast his entry into politics has gotten all the other politicians who have since independence robbing the state and making into a banana society, run for cover. Some in desperation have stooped to the extent of abusing and demeaning him openly. Let the next election show us if Tamil Nadu is ready for change or will still want to exist as a backward society run on the ideology of caste and regionalism.

Super Star versus Mass leader
by Suryanarayana V. S. on Jan 18, 2018 02:34 PM

I am a great fan of Rajanikanth. His fan base will certainly help him to become political force. However,
to be a political leader one has to become mass leader by to travel length and bredth of Tamilnadu and mix with people, Identify people's social and political problems and solve. Become relevant to society urgently.
See examples of MG Ramachandran, Jayalalitha, NT Ramarao etc.. If one is not mass leader political coalations become compulsory.

Rajini & Kamal - Basic requirements
by Gladyschellam on Jan 18, 2018 12:40 PM

Rajani has a large fan base - He has the Leaders' Popularity. He may have good advisers and also employable. Publicity - both positive and negative. - media is there.

Whether he has Cadre base?
Whether all the fans could be converted as party cadre?
Whether the contesting cadre as well as other cadres or party members have the capacity to spend for election?
If a party is floated- as to how he could get funds?
Whether he could get donors? Whether the donors could donate without expecting any returns?

Who are all going to be immediate deputies?
as it is said that no corrupts from other parties will be allowed to join his party.
