by R ponnabalam on Jan 16, 2018 05:17 PM

During demonetization there was a talk that even the F.M. was not in the decision loop. That may also be against convention or protocol.Sometimes conventions give way to some other conventions. There used to be light hearted joke.In a company the convention is that a meeting must be called to discuss emergence situation. So when a fire broke out as per convention an emergency meeting was calledR.Ponnambalam

Cosultation doesn't mean acceptance
by R ponnabalam on Jan 16, 2018 05:08 PM

In Industries every manager consults colleagues, workers;every manger aims to give equitable work distribution and so does it. Every worker, officer may give a different opinion. The manager cannot accept all opinions and implement all opinions. If everybody unanimously gives a different opinion the manager will think thousand times before taking a decision.R.Ponnambalam

The G.M.'s job may go first
by R ponnabalam on Jan 16, 2018 04:59 PM

I was told by my colleague,"You may make a mistake.Something may awkwardly go wrong because of that .But for that The General Manger has to answer first ;his job would be at stake first and would be the first casuality not your job.As long as all are going well there is no problem. It counts when something goes wrong R.Ponnambalam

by R ponnabalam on Jan 16, 2018 04:44 PM

Painful event!Disturbing! What comes to mind is a cinema dialogue in the Cinema MANOHARA in 1950s or so .Manoharan is dragged in,well chained , to the Court of the King where his father the King presides.A reply goes from the King telling somebody not it interfere."It is a family matter."Manoharan retorts,"the strange spectacle of family matter being dragged to the King's court is seen by the world for the first time .I think M.karunanidhi wrote that dialogue.R.Ponnambalam

some questions
by krishna Ram on Jan 14, 2018 03:42 PM  | Hide replies

1. Asking for SOP for appointing judges and why not follow SOP for dealing with cases?

2. e.g:- In case of accident when some body hits car from behind why not use objective analysis and declare judgement? Why take decades to deal with these cases?

3. Are judges really not associated with any political party?

4. Sikh riots reopened and congress is worried?

5. Meeting CPI leader just before the meeting?
