by markand desai on Jan 13, 2018 12:39 PM  | Hide replies

If judge karnan is prosecuted for his behavior(where all these four justices were included) why not the same law for these four justices?

All such influential people, who were patronized during congress regime, will create scenes before 2019 election to defeat BJP.
When judges cared for the people, or press, they always considered themselves superior to all, only cared for their salary, perqs. and retiring benefits. Never bothered to work more working days to clear pending cases.
If they are forming union, then country will go to did-integration and highest indiscipline.

no all such influential people will be made toothless by 2019

these things did not happen in Nehru era niether in Indra Gandhi"s time, because they were popular, powerful mass leader, there was accountability in our democratic system

then came a time when India lacked a powerful mass leader till 2014,during this time unaccontability took its birth in the form of collegium system, and similar systems in our democracy, india is paying the price of that vaccum

Fortunatly ,we now have a powerful & decisiveleadership one again after decades and hopfully things will get all right, and indian democratic institution shall be once again be accountable

Mysterious killing of Justice Loya's case allotment SC judges was the key issue among others as narrated by those 4 Judges army. This was done deliberately to save someones involved in Gujarat riot cases. The perpetrators accomplished their mission too. One is roaming around the country and spewing venom in K'taka. Another one is roaming around the world and gathering venom tobe spewed in K'taka soon.

It is not washing of dirty linen in the public. these are the brave whistle blowers who have brought to the public notice that the judiciary is being compromised by high profile politicians.
The judges have opened up a Pandora's bx. How many people will be eliminated to protect a few high profile leaders?
Friday was indeed a golden day in Indian Democracy. Hat off to the four judges who could venture out for the defense of democracy.

The Lordships should have discussed and resolved within themselves, instead of going Public, bringing down the entire supreme court in Public esteem. Very sad day

This is something unheard of -- Their Lordships making this show. Very sad. Should have solved all problems within their own conregation instead of washing dirty linen in Public.

They did a senseless job. Just trying to bring trade unionism in judiciary. Only four out of 23 SC judges feel that there is no democracy that too when they are about to retire?

Your headline trivialises a serious matter. I think the public has a right to know whether the courts are functioning impartially.
