Certainly it is not a dark day, in fact it is an "eye-opener" for judiciary, which for quite some time now has become very corrupt, and not dependable.
The way it has gone corrupt, one really doubts if it could mend its ways forever. The level of corruption has gone beyond a limit, and is ridiculous.
If a judge cannot be questioned and if he chooses to become corrupt, what is the remedy ?
If the rich and powerful play the judiciary to their tune how will democracy thrive ??
If CJI is unquestionable by any means and so is the decision of the senior most judges, in the interest of the nation.
Democracy thrives only because of honest men,and them only.
