He is Modi's supaari man so it is understandable that he would not want an honest & upright judge to probe him. But now that the SC Judges have brought it out in the open the noose should tighten. It may take time but hope abounds to see this man dispatched to his rightful place.
"The bench asked Dave to specify why the apex court should not hear the petition."- The SC bench which had said this, did not do a thing when the Judge of the Special CBI court, struck down the 2G case, in which it had found merit and not only admitted it but also cancelled the licences issued. This was a case happening under its supervision, and it could have taken it on itself to take the 2G case up to its logical/legal conclusion, at least to safe its face.

When 4 higly respected Judges speak out THAT MEANS THAT SOMETHING IS WRONG SOMEWHERE and it is time for the nation to introspect AND TO STOP TROLLING KHAKI SHORTS
The four judges used very strong words which in the present scenario ring very true. "Unless this institution is preserved, democracy will not survive in this country
It is an extremly painful moment for all four of us and there is no pleasure in holding this press conference
We do not want people to say 20 years later that all four senior-most judges sold their souls
Let the nation decide that: Justice J Chelameswar on if the CJI should be impeached"
If the 4 wise senior judges say something is rotten in SC then it must be so.
If they say the Chief Justice is misusing his position to give cases to his "preferred judges" (so as to influence the judgements in some way) then I think they must be right.
If this is indeed the case, and I repeat IF, then there must be a reason why the Chief Justice is behaving like this. I think political interference cannot be ruled out.
Again, IF, repeat IF, this is the case then I suspect Ram Janbhoomi judgement too will go the way the ruling political class wants.

In the present scenario in our country everything seems to be "managed". Right from the Judiciary, Press, Police all are being manipulated to serve the powers that be. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A DEMOCRACY GIVES A BRUTE MAJORITY TO A SINGLE PARTY.
