Failure of our own agencies that we could not liquidate him in PAK itself. Regarding Kashmir issue, we cannot win a proxy war with military power, correction is needed either to shift few lakhs from Jammu to valley or push separatists from valley as they pushed all pandits.
The military aid squeeze on pak might not have a very substantial effect on pak's military mobilization of terror against Af and India towards its strategic depths objective given its jumping ship from the U.S. to China.Even otherwise Pak is very allergic to India's presence in Af in whatever capacity and that suits China too. Given this background India should not be foolish to keep engaging with Pak and strategize to neutralize pak's influence in the region on long term basis. India must use U.S.'s new no nonsense antagonism towards pak in the typical Trump's blunt public admonishing of Pak. So India too mount the pressures on its own against Pak terror w/o materially depending on U.S. but collaborating with U.S. covertly against Pak. Main problem is India instead is increasing Pak’s importance by constantly engaging with it behind the back of Indian people. Given the fresh Chinese involvement in the region wonder if India can initiate space research with Af and open an ISRO center with rocket and satellite launching facilities in Af with military angle in the long run.Modi govt. must have a clear and consistent anti-Pak, policy starting with a firm NO to engagement with on Kashmir or Terror.India has nothing to talk with Pak on both issues. Enough of talks, future must be action and action alone in constant covert collaboration with the U.S.as also Trump like blunt and hostile verbal barrage against Pak with greater involvement in Af.
