The so called

Brahmins, in general, carry around the burden of their belief that they are descended from a different and superior raxce !

Dig deeper into the minds of the average brahmin and one will find the fond belief that he or she is descended from some *superior* race that many among them vaguely and ignorantly associate with the term *Aryan* !!!

On many occasions however, one does not have to dig into their minds or even ask them about it at all. Many among them will go around volunteering such *knowledge* as though others are all very keen to hear what they think about themselves !

But, when they are confronted with questions about their racial features (such as thick lips, wide noses, black pupils, black and wavy hair, wheatish or dark skin, etc that are typical markers of the negrito draxvidian race), they either feign surprise or try to change the topic or sometimes are truly surprised that there are racial distinctions (particularly ignorant ones) !!

Such comedy is particularly frequent in the case of the tamil and telugu brahmins (the Iyers, Iyengars and others). These species often have dark or even very dark skin and thick or very thick lips and are usually indistinguishable from people belonging to other castes in TN and A.P.

If asked why they look so different from the so called brahmins of H.P, Haryana, etc (or for that matter, so different from anyone in those states) if they really think that racial identities are the same as caste identities, they make the quickest possible exit from the debate started by themselves !!

How could this be possible if Dalit's are oppressed?
How are so many Dalit's holding high positions in India?
Firdaus, as I have said earlier, writes like a drain inspector, trying to search out divides against Hindus.
No where we find him writing against Islamic terror; that Islamic countries should declare themselves secular.
He wants perfection only in India.

One should expose the hidden agenda of firdaus - dividing the Hindus . Will no longer work
According to firdaus all Islamic Countries are very very peaceful Countries . We should sent Mr Firdaus to Foreign Countries to learn how the minorities in those Countries are treated by the majority community . Then he will realise Bharath ( Hindusthan ) is Heaven .

Suppression of dalits vs. Brahmanical resurgence.
by MangeswaraSastryB on Jan 02, 2018 03:08 PM

It is meaningless to claim that Macaulay introduced English for the upliftment of the Dalits. He was not known to be a social reformer at any stage. The only upliftment for him was that of the British empire. If indeed it was a fact, all the Dalits would have become scholars of English by now. The basic flaw with us Indians is we do not bother to record our history in an accurate manner nor do we show any respect to historians of note. The result is any half baked theory gets passed off as historical research.

Thank you Dr. Teltumbde for your balanced views and for not falling for the instigatory questions posed by the author which seemed focussed on getting a particular reply. You have spoken with sagacity and fairness.

As you said, everyone knows that Dalits were discriminated in the past. Majority of educated Indians among the upper castes, no longer believe in caste based discrimination. Discrimination is reducing, though not as fast as we would like. Now mostly it is limited to rural areas and small towns and particularly between the intermediate castes and Dalits. All kinds of lynchings, etc are highly condemnable. But it is not as if the incidents are increasing. They have always sadly existed even during UPA tenure, but now they are being magnified by motivated persons like this author.

I deeply appreciate your balanced views on the subject. Much respect, Dr. saheb!

True, Very balanced interview and opinion expressed by Dr Teltumbade. Mr Syed tried to ask questions to get him to give provocative answers but Dr dodged.

It has become common to provoke dalits against upper caste and suggest to make aliance with Muslim. In India, Muslim also have caste along with Cristian. Celebrate victory of British as victory of dalit is also misleading and give unnecessary class conflict.
