Whither goes our Foreign Policy?
by Bwinde Kang on Mar 02, 2018 11:39 AM

It is time to look at the direction our Foreign Policy is headed - we have ended up opponents [if not enemies] out of our otherwise peaceful neighbors like Nepal, Burma, Bangla Desh, Sri Lanka and now Maldives.

India must respond by military intervention as it did in 1989. We have to assert ourselves.

Yes that is the only solution. We should have better intelligence in Maldives and forced maldives not tolease island to China. China and pak are two major contributors to this situation and we must be alert for natinal security. But Modi seems to be least bothered about such matters.

India Losing Ground and Influence in Maldives
by Bigtribe on Feb 28, 2018 10:50 AM  | Hide replies

Indian govt is riddled with corruption, favoring money laundering and escape to scamsters like chhot Modi, Choksi, Mallya...and accumulating political funds from scamsters, favored corporates...
Governance is given second priority as this govt or modi led party is likely to loose power...

India's loss is Chinese gain. Modi is loosing the concentration as he is unable to counter the opposition - remaining MAUN.

A businessman who has business interests abroad and who spends less time in India being allowed to leave? The action taken to confiscate his property is unprecedented. A Fugitive economic offender's bill has already been passed by the Cabinet. There are many areas on which the government can be criticised, but this is not one of them.Blind criticism has a negative effect.

India must play key role to resolve the issue whether Yamin likes it or dislikes it. We are most affected nation as a neighbour, our interest must be fully secured, instead of we wait for any IIIrd country intervention.

A Cuba emerging next door.

The dragon rearing a new Sharif in Maldives.

Sirens blaring for Bharatvarsh that can ultimately become a land-sea-air locked nation with dragons all over the ten directions.

It will be interesting to watch how Narendra tackles this kind of an unprecedented potential threat to the Indian sub-continent.
