Enhance defence capabilities or the future will be oblique
by sasidharan on Feb 22, 2018 09:24 PM

India must enhance defence capabilities and DRDO and other institutions must be revamped. The govt: must allocate more funds for acquiring arms, and defence purchases must be out of the purview of CAG and courts.

SCRAP NO FIRST USE POLICY WHICH SOUNDS DEFENSIVE
by damodaran mohan on Feb 22, 2018 05:29 PM

India must scrap 'no first use' policy as it is all bunkum.Enemy is not going to fire a single Nuke or even launch a weak Nuke attack to allow you to retaliate massively to your strength of the so called '2nd strike capability'.Any Nuke strike of the enemy necessarily is going to be in a torrent of decisive strike to cripple our potential of near total level to strike back adequately. The very idea of 'no first use' typically reflects a defensive and apologetic mindset India must shed quickly.India must say boldly that we reserve our right to strike our enemy as retaliation to any provocation unacceptable to us in a manner and with a level of Nukes force we deem right to defend our-self.Yes, the delivery systems have to be perfected to precision to ensure complete effectiveness in our objectives.

REGARDING MISILE & NUCLEAR WARHEADS
by Karunakar Das on Feb 16, 2018 12:48 PM

WHEN TWO OF OUR NEIGBOURS ARE OUR STRATEGIC ENMIES WITH HUGE NUCLEAR & MISILE WAR HEADS,WE NEED MORE POWER TO COUNTER THEM TO UPHOLD NON VIOLENCE.GANDHIJI'S NON VIOLENCE TOOL WITHOUT SUPPORT OF MILITARY POWER ULTIMATELY DEVIDED THE COUNTRY ON COMMUNAL LINES.UNO CAN'T DERAIL NUCLEAR WARS TO SAVE MEMBER COUNTRIES.SUPERPOWERS ARE ALREADY DEVIDED ON SECURITY ISSUEES OF ANY COUNTRY.THE WORLD IS TENDING FOR UNPRECEDENTED NUCLEARWARS FOR MASSIVE DESTRUCTION.

Defense had best be left to the cabinet.

Which in turn will appropriately question the Minister.

Bulletin board discussions of such a delicate subject had better be avoided by all concerned.

By a suitable law, if necessary.

Serious

India is not much serious on this front despite Pak and China ahead in number of nukes. Pakies are always threatening India with atom bomb.
