This is truly Wonderful Mr Chandrshekar. Great respect to you and your Dad ,and to a good Rajya Sabha Member. I have heard on TV over the years Many speeches and discussions by you on varied subjects ,quite a few on Biz related matters, and policies, and personally I very much appreciated those talks. We need to Truly Love our country ,and OFCOURSE all those starting from a Jawan or Lance Naik, and these days even a BSF at the Border or a J& K policeman.. I feel we need to introduce in the country to respect and sing National anthem, Bharat mata KI Jai, and Vanderbilt Mataram ATLEAST once a quarter, wherever we are, in govt, in colleges, in schools, in ant institutions, in biz companies, etc etc. All the more We need to imbibe this in our youngest generation, say from LKG , all the way up, . Mr Chandrasekhar you hv done a great deed to your Dad, the Indian defence Forces, and to the good old Dak 3 Aircraft the work horse. You have also Kept the Memory of the Great Company MCDONNELL DOUGLAS WHO MADE THIS AIRCRAFT. THANK U.

Dakota DC3 served IAF in difficult situations. Transporting soldiers to Srinagar to save Kashmir-the aircraft was flown by late Biju Patnaik. Similarly landing of the aircraft on the riverbed of Sindh in Leh by Wg. Cdr Mehar Singh fondly called 'Baba' was historical. I am proud of the fact that my late father witnessed this landing. The famous drop of paratroopers (Tangail) during 1971 war- I witnessed the take off of Dakotas from Kalaikunda carrying the soldiers that caused the death blow to retreating Pakistani army. Apart from above after 1962 Chinese aggression Kalinga Airlines used Dakotas to supply (air drop) ration Indian army stationed in remote locations in NEFA (Arunachal Pradesh) during sixties & seventies. The aircraft has served India in various roles, so its contribution needs to be celebrated, J. K. Sharma
wtf is this meaningless stuff?! Just because his dad was an air force pilot, he has fallen in love with the planes. Btw, how did he make all the money? Someone should investigate him for disproportionate assets.
Or is he gifting away his in-laws's money ? there were some court cases which he seems to have won and found his way to rajya sabha, like many other freeloaders.
