Due to AFSPA rule in J&K army is placed in some disturbing areas of the state where mostly youths joins militancy ..... On an average,being a resident of Srinagar atleast once in a week i hear news about there is a gun batlle between Army and terrorists....Now when army kills terriorists,People think that Army had killed there son,there brother.As soon as people hear this news thousands of them gather at his funeral and after funeral is over they start to attacking army camps and other army men .......

We can't win hearts with force. Army follow orders and straight orders. If they will be asked to crush revolts they will do it mercilessly without trying to find the difference between innocent and guilty. If they will be asked to provide flood relief, they will do it selflessly. It's not the job of the military to make peace time strategy. It's the job of government to make sure that they are not directed against their own citizen. Learn from history and understand what happened in Bangladesh. If we want to win people we need to reduce the role of military, keep it in barracks and use them for precise actions.

about 95% of the population of Kashmir is not happy with India in many ways. About 65% of these want an independent Kashmir and the remaining want to be part of India minus the suppression from Indian authorities ( I belong to the last category).
Kashmiris have suffered both at the hands of Pakistan as well as India. While it was Pakistan that started our ordeal with Kabailis and later on with armed insurgency in late 1980s, India wasn't very good to us either. Indian forces have resorted to extra-judicial killings in Kashmir, strangulated voices and opinions of Kashmiris over a long time besides treating the general populace as second class citizens. Mass rapes, disappearances and fake encounters are a very common day to day thing here.

Azadi is the most spoken word in Kashmir by every Kashmiri. I would say the genesis of this word is from Kashmir. After receiving the above answers from the Kashmiri Youth, it’s clear that Kashmir is a political issue and it would be a big goof to term it as a money issue because, if it had been an economical issue then, all sections of society, children, men, women, elders and elite class wouldn’t have been on roads. So, it is not an economical issue. Moreover, those who tag it as a brainwashed activity are total inscients living on biased notions without reaching to the reality. Actually it is a myth which serves nothing except a spoof because, in this era of knowledge and consciousness, we can’t expect an educated individual will be brainwashed. And, an Engineering Student cannot chant slogan (s) for any futile reason. It’s an answer to a famous myth that Kashmiri Youth are misguided.
