The media person, has not given clarity in her story why the female cop got so angry, and what was her justification in doing so, maybe she was bit concerned they may lose the train if they exchange or other reason life of a person is more important..maybe some old lady in the group or maybe some other reasons there may be so many 'Maybe" which the author has not disclosed with some ulterior intention and present a sorry picture of herself, which all reader undertood that. As one said Media people are not saint world knows, they judge and convict a person before a court verdict.
The cop side of the story should be published too.
Why just stick to the story narrated by some reporter who is a party in the whole episode ? How can one believe what this REPORTER said is not a lie. After all , they are experts in concocting and making up stories out of no issues. Gossip , trivia, manipulation and twisting of context are hall marks of INdian media reporting.
May be the cop is wrong or reacted under stress. But the media people in this country are no saints.
Most of the evils , unrest and gossip is floated by media people who lack basic understanding of journalistic ethics and lack basic common sense.
The press people think that they have this so omnipowerful weapon called press and they can destroy any thing and any one and they act like one. This is true had people have trust Indian media.
No one trusts the media today.
These reporters are bunch of bullies who pick on any one flashing their badges as if they are ultimate protectors of the democracy.
There is a section of media which still adheres to the old values of morals and unbiased reporting. BUt that is a very tiny minority when compared to the boorish, loud, noisy , in-your-face scum bags in media who dominate the scene.
It's not that the author is lying. The way she felt the need to be heard while in the RPF thana, the similar way there would be a need to hear the other side of the story as well, especially before forming robust opinion against our cops and commenting against the police administration so blatantly. I'd appeal to stop judging based on biased & one sided articles like these.

One who knows not how to protect oneself will always suffer. Additionally, one must know how to counteract and counterattack, failing which, this is the fate.
How could one prove his/her point in this type of cases..?? If having witness is the ultimate way to fight in this case we have to have powerful CCTV COVERAGES. Law should be their to protect citizens from being victim of this kind of misuse of power by police personnel.
