Measures mentioned by Retired colonel Athale needs to be taken into consideration. Something drastic have to be done to make Pakistan bleed for a long time to come. A rogue country deserves the worst.

No war with PAK, he is openly helping all separatists in Kashmir, action is required within, proxy war can only be won if mass scale Hindus are shifted to Valley to outnumber the existing pro PAK people.

No need to show mercy for separatists ans atone pelters. Army should be given full powers to deal with them the way they want as ultimately they are always target for them. Government must allow army, police and para military force to use pallet guns and if require to order firing. Unless you do not have control over such anti national elements, you can not fight effectively with outsiders.

Do not agree, proxy war is to dealt in democratic civilian manner, finish article 370 or so under under constitution or by way of shifting mass scale people from main land or from Jammu to counter proxy war. PAK has already shifted about 10 lakhs families from Punjab to Kashmir.

Political situation in India is different than that of Pakistan. What Pakistan can do with their citizens, you can not do with your citizens. Pakistan government controlled by military has not to face people like our so called hypocrats, pseudo seculars, so called intellectuals, award wapasi gangs, and opposition political parties.
This is an unending ritual of mutual killings.Strategic depth will be of relevance in a conventional war which is not possible in the current regional or international scenario. There will be no winners only losers-the poor soldiers and their families.
