Should we blame whole majority community for this sin perpetrated by individual? Should we question their patriotic credibility? No, never... But they don't think in that way and blame whole community for individual sin of other community guy.
We cannot believe who can cheat us. There might many captain marwas out there for the shake of money or sex. So for safety purposes the officials shud ban smart phones inside the operating area. Who knows some day a defense official can sell nuclear system information. Prevention is better than cure. Gone are the days when we used to talk about patriotism. Nowadays we can see the examples of Khanaiya kumar, kejriwal, Baraka dutt who are the popular personalities by these acts. We can see group captain marwah in big boss one day.

My point is he could have been easily courtmarshaled, if found guilty. Why put such cases in public domain, which can give clues both to disgruntled & enemies to try this trick on others? One such instance brought to the public domain can cast a doubt on integrity of all army personnel. We will site such instances to generalize..look at the judiciary now, people say judiciary has become corrupt, they do not see the fact that 99% of judges are spotlessly clean!

People of proven integrity and high intelligence are supposed to rise to these high levels in service. Obviously, proper assessments are lacking or the whole system has become lackadaisical. Feel sorry for the nation.
You would think that at the age of 51, people would be more mature in matters of the heart.
This man seems to have lost his maturity, patriotism, and personal integrity at that age.
And what is more foolish, it was thru social media. Looks like it is not just teens who need to be educated about the dangers of social media relationships.

I only wish the report is false. It may be too premature to throw a soldier with army for more than 20 years of service. Why was he not courtmarshaled instead of lowering the dignity of Indian army through police enquiry? A black sheep anywhere is a black sheep!

If conjugal relations are not satisfactory,it cud lead to straying. Social media is the easiest channel to vent such feeligs. It could also be a case of sour grapes. After so many years of service ,there cud be possibility that some of his peers were promoted ahead of him.The resulting resentment cud be the cause. The defence agencies shud take care to avoid such situations perhaps by periodic psychological counselling or other means. Hormonal changes may also play a role. Officers shud be periodically checked for their mental toughness while discharging their duties towards the nation. Those who are found to be falter in their thought processes shud be assigned non-critical work fns so as not to compromise national security.

I agree with yr view that , the issue shud not hv been brought in public domain. It unnecessarily complicates matters. At the same time some preventive measures are necessary to avoid vital security data getting leaked.
